idk why you guys are doubtful about tira when Zasalamel is also like right there. Im pretty sure he wasnt even a whisper in sc2.

That being said, I wonder if the Portals geralt mentioned in his debut will have any meaning other than a gag, because im not sure if they are dimensional portals or time portals via astral chaos.

I rather have Amy be Velvet. She had more of an identity. Of course, I rather compromise & just find a way to merge their movesets together. I also keep forgetting about her existence.

I thought Inferno is supposed Soul Edge's true form & Night Terror was some extremely powerful creature.

I think it that would be a legit way to introduce any SC V cast.

Z.W.E.I. literally falls into a portal and ends up into the past.

Sadly, those portals are just a normal occurrence for Geralt, from what I understand of the Witcher lore.

Never new how badly I wanted to see how Chell would work in a fighting game until now.

Zwei's a pretty easy in if they wanted. We don't know how old he is. If he dropped the stupid sword and it was just him and his Stand, that might be better.

Viola would be interesting, but there'd need to be a reason for her (Amy) to know magic at that point.

Speaking of Geralt, I still haven't even seen any of Nier Automata, but 2B would be great to have as a guest character.

Here's hoping they announce a Switch version at Evo. This (and Nier Automata) is the only game on my radar not available on Switch. They're both on Steam, and I will need to buy a better computer eventually, but still...

Fair enough about Amy, but can you explain why 2B should be a guest?

From what I can tell Nier is a somewhat steampunk but futuristic apocalyptic setting. I don't know if 2B would clash with the rest of the cast, but I'm also the same guy who loved Darth Vader being in the game despite how horrible of a choice he was.

I would love Soul Calibur to be on the Switch, but that doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon.

I think Ryu Hayabusa or Corvo from Samonosuke from Onimusha would make more sense as a guest.

Just character design, really. She reminds me of Ashlotte.

There's other, more fitting characters since the last game came out, like the Dragonborn, or [insert Fire Emblem character here] for a Switch version.

Sticking with Bamco, there's Eliza from Tekken...

That would be something if Hayabusa got into the game. Especially when consider Itagaki's infamous hatred towards Namco at the time.

If it ever gets announce for the Switch I still would like Lucina to be the guest character if they do choose Fire Emblem even if that doesn't make any sense. Although, honestly I prefer the return of Link but I really had my way I have 2 of them being in the game.

Why did Itagaki hate Namco and DOA so much? I read that apparently one of the games said something negative about Tekken somewhere, but I'm not entirely clear on the matter.

Tekken, not DOA. DOA was develop by him.

I vaguely recall but I believe it was because of some misunderstanding that blown way out of disproportionate. Feel free to correct me on this, anybody.

Either way Itagaki is kind of a douche bag.

Right. Tekken. Kinda derped on that one.

I don't think Hayabusa was completely Itagaki's though. He's been there even before Itagaki was in Tecmo. If it's Kasumi, I can definitely see him forbidding her. Hayabusa? I think he'll even let him do some violence.

That, and Itagaki is no longer in Koei-Tecmo. He'll have no say on anything else on what Namco wants. And whoever is in charge of Hayabusa... well I don't think they have the same animosity Itagaki had on Namco.

Itagaki actually loved Tekken 3. He was so disappointed by Tekken 4 it ruined the series for him and he became antiTekken.. I imagine he no longer feels as badly about it though.

Itagaki was the brains behind Ninja Gaiden Xbox so I do feel Hayabusa is probably held in high regard by him.

Hmm his hit effects sound a bit weak huh? Not a fan of his new voice either. Voldo use to sound creepy. Now he sounds too mild. I'm not too much a fan of his costume either.

Granted Voldo's costumes are always weird, but I think my favorite were his Soul Calibur 2P costume and his Sc 2 3rd costume.

Are you saying his coughs and hacks and hissing isnt up to par? I doubt there was a redub...

In series with fan service like Ivy we need fan disurface to have a balance,thus Voldo is needed

You need Voldo for his weirdo wrist blade things. Unique is good.

I'm saying exactly that. I hope the voiced lines aren't too awkward this time. This series never had fantastic voice acting but I at least want it on par with SC 2 Raphael's lines.
