First post on "Character Adventure" has been set as a header as requested.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanKkutwar, I wasn't aware Mirons turn had arrived yet. I will write a post if it is so.
"The dried flowers are so beautiful, and it applies to all things living and dead."For the Adventure character-locator page, I added more detailed locations along the perimeter of town. Please sort your characters by which gate they are closest to.

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.Poor, poor Rosalind! The group that found her is unintentionally the stuff of her nightmares!
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight. What color is Varg's skin, and what obvious non-human features does Varg have? I'm not well-versed in what haugrs look like and Rosalind knows even less about haugrs than I do.

Hey friend, just some advice; please don't triple post! If you have more comments, edit your previous post! It makes things a lot easier.
Sorry! Duly noted.
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight. This is the first post Varg appears in.
Grey skin with a stone-like texture, red eyes, pointed ears, arrow-tipped tail. Big and strong (easily over 2 meters / 7 feet) and very much in the orc/ogre/troll category of fantasy beings.
Still a great "screw depression" song even after seven years. Thanks - the reason I was asking was because I have a few questions specifically about Varg's stone-like skin texture that, turns out, didn't get answered in the intro description - how unyielding is Varg's skin, exactly? Is it a literal layer of stone, or merely thick and not easily squished or pierced? For the latter case, what kinds of arrows are merely annoying and what kinds of bows and arrows are powerful enough to cause major hurt?

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.Oh, it's just meant to be a visual thing. (I.e. It's normal skin that's just very rough and has uneven blotches and streaks of color and so on; it's not literally made of stone.) As for how she'd handle arrows and whatnot... I guess you'll have to wait and find out.
By the way, just to make things clear, Varg touched Jann's shoulder, not Rosalind's.
Still a great "screw depression" song even after seven years.Sorry for the lack of the post, guys! I will get on that ASAP! First in Space Liner, then in Adventure. Y'know, work and stuff delaying me, so...
I also just came up with a new character idea today. With some luck we might be seeing this character in Adventure soon.
EDIT: Aaaaaaaand posted. That new character I just had meet Alice in Adventure is actually the first gender-neutral character ever slated to appear in my works (aside from certain Mystripets lacking gender inherently due to being an Animate Inanimate Object or something), so yay for me!

Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.@ Corvidae (Double Take, rereading) Dang, you're right. My bad. Umm... I'll just go fix that little continuity snarl... (edit: fixed)
@ ladytanuki I read the post where you introduced that new character you mentioned, but I can't find that character on the thread page.
So, where are the docks in Adventure? I've examined this map and that map and I can't find them.

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.@Yomegami: Wrong thread, nerd, lol.
Oh -arg- me.
Anyway, to repeat my question: Was the restaurant described anywhere? Apparently it's not the same thing as the Solstice Cafe.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Lemme check the Adventure page... You're right, the restaurant is not the same thing as the Solstice Cafe. Furthermore, the description of the restaurant is really sparse on that page. Some troper might have fleshed out the restaurant's description, so let me check the Adventure thread itself...
Regarding the Adventure thread, pages 1 and 6 might be your best bet on finding other tropers' descriptions of the restaurant, those pages have 13 and 12 instances of the word "restaurant" compared to the other pages' single-digits tally. I say "might" because I just did a basic word search, I didn't re-read those pages.
If all else fails, the setting is specifically designed to be a vast sandbox into which details can be inserted by participants. That means you, Yomegami, if you want.

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.I clumsily and tentatively estimate fifteen in-universe minutes have passed for the Adventure thread, who's in charge of modifying time of day and weather in the first post?
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.Hey everyone sorry I've been away. I'm ready to jump back in wherever I can. I'm thinking of going to the notice board and have Henry try to find James Turner if that's alright with everyone.
From the looks of things, varying amounts of time have passed, going by how much travelling people have done.
I was planning on getting a consensus of how much time had passed then altering the OP and the links in the thread page.
x7 I don't typically add a character to the thread page until they've been introduced by name, as for some reason I don't like a ??? being listed on the thread page. Though there seems to be an increasing trend of just giving the name right off the bat, so who knows.
Speaking of the new character, I would like to point out that I have not interacted with many people of non-binary gender in my life and, as someone who identifies exclusively as female, am having a bit of a difficult time grasping the concept. So if I offend someone with how I write this character, particularly with the use of pronouns and the language in their introductory post, please let me know. Otherwise I won't know what to fix or correct or watch out for in the future. Let's just say I uh, recently got quite a bit of backlash for miswording or misinterpreting the concept, so I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing.

Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.@KK: I think it's your turn now....Nerd.
So, I'm going to have to figure out where a wyvern would make its residence in Adventure, since the lanceros is either albino or leucistic, with the former being photosensitive and highly unlikely to be found during the daytime. Of course, the latter could allow it to be found asap.
On the other hand, "piebald wyvern" sounds inherently hilarious.
Either way, I'll still need a nest for it for reward reasons.
I'm still waiting for Eterna, unless Justin's demon reacting first would work better for Miron's reaction.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."I have a test today, but I will try to write my Miron post after it.
"The dried flowers are so beautiful, and it applies to all things living and dead."@ ladytanuki: I don't notice anything I'd personally object to in that post, but feel free to ask questions and whatnot.
Still a great "screw depression" song even after seven years.
Hollered the mods a request. Now We Wait.
Spiral out, keep going.
