Well, if anyone wants to make it, feel free. I'm not really sure how anymore.

"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."But seriously, this has become more complicated than the thread I envisioned and I'm just not confident I can write an OP for it. No need to be rude.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWhat's giving you problems?
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimAgain, the fact that my thread idea has become a lot more involved and complex than I initially envisioned, with it originally intended to just be a Q-A game or a "fill out this questionnaire" thread. I genuinely have no idea where to begin with making a thread now or what we're even actually going to be doing in it, besides the vague ideas we came up with.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessFrom what I'm reading from earlier, it seems like there would be:
Poster A: A set of standard questions answered, followed by a character and/or story summary.
Posters B-Z: Questions about character from Post A. Presumably limited to a certain number per person.
Poster A: Answers to the above.
That's the gist of how I'm understanding it. Maybe a limited number of followup questions as well? And perhaps a rule saying you have to participate in an interview before you can add your own interviewee character.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min Kim10 to 20 questions is a lot. I'd say maybe up to five?
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrShould we have a list of questions everyone needs to answer, or maybe a larger list of ones they can pick and choose from?
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWhat basic questions does everyone have in mind?
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimI have a couple of ideas.
- What's your favorite pastime?
- What's your favorite food or beverage?
- What's your favorite movie?
- What do you wish happened differently in your life?
- What would you say is your greatest weakness?
- What is your dream job?
- What was the most emotional part of your life?
- What's your favorite animal?note
- What is the world you would most want to live on?
- What would be the worst thing you could think of happening to you?
- How would you consider the recent events that just transpired?
So i've finished writing not one, but two short stories! Well, the new one evolved from the first one, cause i found out that, on the first draft of my previous short story, i had enough content for two of them. Will look to upload them on...actually, is there any site where i can upload original fiction? Cause i have an AO 3 account, but original fiction aren't popular at all on that site.
Anyways, i'll wait for the review on the concrit thread before i upload anything.

I've been wondering, would anyone else find it useful to have a "Team Critique Thread" on here?
By now, it should be clear to all except the most dense of us that sheep are secretly conspiring to kill us all and steal our pants. There's a "Nation Critique Thread" from a while back. We could probably get it renamed to a "Faction Critique Thread" or something like that.
Also considering rewriting my protag's backstory because one major element there is virtually identical to the premise of WandaVision, ugh.
Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)I recently discovered an online publisher that takes novella-length pieces, one that I had previously been unaware of. As a result, I've pulled out an old novella of mine and given it one more chance at publication.
(If it's rejected there, then I'll likely post it for free somewhere.)
As to other works, I'm still getting two of my short stories out to various online magazines, looking for one to take them each.
I also recently settled on a concept for a follow-up to one of the aforementioned short-stories. It's intended to focus on a new character in the same setting, and further explore their particular supernatural sub-culture.
I asked this myself, recently. I believe that the answer given to me was something to this effect:
- AO 3 does allow original fiction, although it should be "fannish".
- Fictionpress is a possibility.
- Scribblehub is likewise a potential platform.
- itch.io publishes fiction.
- Amazon allows self-publishing, and has a large market.
(I wonder whether this stuff is worth adding to Writers Resources...)
My Games & WritingYeah, for now, i think i'll stick with my AO 3 account. Fictionpress is a solid option, so i might go there, as well.
So yeah, i'm waiting for the concrit thread to review my short story so i can put the finishing touches before uploading. Though i wish there was a section on this site where people can post stories, since we are all writers trying to help each other. And also because i want to share my story with the people that helped me in my thread.
@Warjay 77: I wasnt being sarcastic, I actually thought you didnt know where the button was.
There is a writers resources thread around here somewhere, I'll try to find it.

"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Hey, it's alright. Hard to judge tone over the internet, y'know? It's all good.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWhat is it with me and trying to never actually name my characters?
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Names can be hard, I feel.
Perhaps you're subconsciously trying to avoid having to deal with that.

My Games & WritingI dunno if I'd say it's subconscious, exactly
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.
That and to help people determine things about their characters. Having questions posed can force people to really learn about their characters. It can be good for people who want feedback on developed characters as well as for people still crafting their characters.
