Changed without discussion: Impaled Palm

Not only does the current image have no caption, but it's hard to tell that it is an impaled palm at first glance (since, you know, the fist goes through the hand, scratching on the SFW surface).

The previous image is definitely better. It demonstrates the trope more clearly, and as a bonus, it's even in color.

Although the caption is pretty weak.

That one is better than the one that's on there now. I have no idea what's going on in the current image.

I don't like that one as much. It's not attached to anyone.

The colour image could do with a different caption. I agree.

Like Girl Genius.

Girl Genius is great because the palm is completely transfixed upon the blade (The first anime image, while good, doesn't have that guy's hand stuck all the way on).

On the other hand, the extraneous dialogue bubbles take some focus away from the trope.

We could probably shop that out if you wanted to.

Another possibility.

I don't think the main speech bubbles detract. The fragmentary purple corner off on the upper left side is a bit annoying, but I don't have the skill to get that one gone.

If anyone has or can find the NCIS episode "Broken Bird", there's a great shot of Ducky with a knife stuck through his right hand...GIS didn't land any good still shots and none of the You Tube clips I found are worth a damn.

The pic as changed because Naruto isn't stabbing himself in the palm, rather the back of his hand. Not sure if that matters...

The current pic, from Fist Of The North Star appears to be someone punching their fist through someone else's palm.

^ I don't think it really matters which side the impalement starts from.

Well to be honest it looks less like an impalement and more like merely wounding the surface of his palm.

He's jamming his knife into it. I think that qualifies as impalement.

ImageLinks.Impaled Palm is up with all the images suggested so far. This one is from Yu Gi Oh, right? I thought so, but I'm not certain.

Here◊'s a scene from ArkhamAsylum where Batman shoves a shard of glass through his palm. Way too big as is, but it's a clear example.
