Smeargle 42: -Takes a deep breath, and Blast Burns Steel. With no restraints. And possibly lethal force.

-Meanwhile, the Toxic is diverted from Jeff at the last second by virtue of Bisharp taking the hit. Due to his typing, nothing happens. Thn he proceeds to spam Iron Head on some Smeargle.

Effie gestures towards the two Pokemon at her feet.

"I'm afraid these are my only two uninjured Pokemon, and as you can see, neither can fly. And even if my team was fully fit, none are Flying types."

She shrugs and picks up Bounty, who happily climbs on top of her head and nestles down in the bandana.

"No, I'm here for ground support... Evidently, my superiors seem to lack the capacity to realize what will happen if any of those Magma barbarians attempt a battle while the better-trained portion of my team is still recuperating."

Um...can I ask a question?

-Most of the Smeargle are K Oed by the combined Surfquake combo, including the medic. Only a few, the strongest, remain. One of them is a good 2 feet taller than most. It proceeds to glow with an errie light and use none other than Sacred Fire on Umbra's Pokemon. And Umbra.

"Swellow, use Aerial Ace on some of the flying Smeargle"

Swellow: <All right, you manipulative screwheads, listen up. This is my Boomstick!> [Proceeds to KO the flying Smeargle]

I see...Well, I may not be affiliated with Aqua or Magma, but I could always try and help you.

As for me, I'm here traveling with some friends.

Elsewhere in Fortree

Vyvyan starts walking away.

Vyvyan: I thought I could trust you Seirra... Bridget.

The Gardevoir floats over to Vyvyan.

Vyvyan: We're leaving.

Bridget: <Vyv, you're being irrational.>

Vyvyan: Don't care, if you want to stay then go right ahead.

Bridget: <Who said->

Vyvyan: At every coner I have been betrayed and I'm sick of it. Why does every make promises they don't intend to keep?

Bridget: <Vyvyan. Calm Down>

Vyvyan shoves Bridget out of the way.

Bridget: <!!!>

Vyvyan: As I said. I'm leaving.

Vyvyan walks away from the group, before running out of the city all together.

Bridget: <Vyvyan wait!>

Bridget follows the Magma Grunt's trail.

Lumos: Oh no you don't.

- Throws himself in front of the Sacred Fire. At first there's a bright flash of light, which then fades as it's sucked into Lumos, who now glows with power. -

Lumos:Flash Fire, bitches.

- He uses Fire Blast -

Effie smiles warmly.

"You would do that for a stranger? I applaud your generosity... And am thankful for any assistance you could give."

<Thanks! :D!> Bounty waves from Effie's head, blowing a few bubbles in Straw's direction.

<Yeah, thanks, Straw... Bounty and I would like, literally die if we got in a battle right now.> Crewe scratches behind her neck. <Hehe.>

Effie ignores her Pokemon for the most part, though she brushes away some (surprisingly very resilient) bubbles from her face.

"Ah, traveling with friends... If I might ask, where are they? You appear to be alone."

Sierra: ... Oh no... (sighs)

Mawile: <Can we talk about me now?>

Solrock: <...>

Mawile: <... What?> (blinks) <Wow... I am really self-absorbed, aren't I?>

Minun: (pops out of her pokeball) <You only just noticed?>

Mawile: <... Quick! Someone! Talk about anything other than me!>

- Just stands there, unsure what to do to help -

Sierra, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. We'll fix this. I promise.

She's probably asleep, or playing that game Wolf got her.

Sierra: ! A-Are you sure? Didn't you say it had to be kept a secret?

Yeah. Are you really sure about this?

-Susan recieved the text message and is conversing with me about it-

Rex: What are you guys up to? I just met this nice guy from Johto named Joey. He's pretty cool and he has an amazing Rattata.

-Due to Steel's partial Rock typing, it fails to do as much damage as it could. It still manages to really hurt him though-

Steel: -Is on his knees from the pain- <Argh!>

Okay, now I'm angry. Let's show them exactly who they're messing with. Gaia, use Frenzy Plant!

Gaia: -Summons roots out out of the ground and starts using them to bash Smeargle against the ground and rocks-

Limna: -Runs over to Steel after Blaze Kicking a Smeargle into the ceiling- <Steel, are you alright?>

Steel: -Gets up- <I'm fine.>

-Grabs two Smeargle in his tail and squeezes them unconscious before tossing them aside-

<Just keep fighting these Smeargle!>

-Unleashes a massive Metal Burst that ends up creating a problem, as in falling rocks-

Helios: -Blows a whole group of Smeargle in the air so that Forecaster can Thunder them while Tropius uses Aerial Ace to pick off the remainder-
