Dana: -nuzzles Steven, then scrambles down to the floor and over to Katie- <Yay, Basil! Where is he?> -she looks around, as if expecting the other Rattata to appear out of nowhere-

-I smile at Jab, then turn back to Every-

Speaking of Sneasel... Do you have any idea who has the armbands?

I wonder if gears are designed to be like Klink or Klink are modeled formed to mimic gears...

I wonder when Daisy will be arriving at the port?

I'm assuming your Pokeform is a Sneasel, then?

Yeah, Sneasel. I doubt anyone was surprised. Maybe when we inevitably run into Wolf I'll ask to borrow it.

-After having made it to the Library at the third floor, I equip myself with a bandana, a mask and some gloves, and start checking the different historical documents I took notice of earlier in order to find information about the different symbols-

If my theory is right, the documents the other Silent had access to might actually exist here as well, so I might be able to access older, unfiltered versions of them...

-Looking through the archives of the city's early history until I manage to find a particular symbol again. It looks like a triangle but the bottom side is curved rather than straight, and it has some hooks by the sides.-

I have seen this somewhere...

-After that I turn my attention to search for documents using the icon of the carpeting company, finding a related company that makes chimneys and another one that exported some crafts to Unova and other nearby regions. After that I find a hint closer to home-

"Slateport Ct., Hoenn"... Great.

-I decide to save the information I could find and leave the place towards one of the building's towers. I take my time to reach the building's northern wing and watch out from a window-

-Maekrite is waiting between the bushes just outside of the building, nomming some random berries to feign innocence. At some point he decides that it's time to run another check around the building-

-I try to make my way out of the window to climb down the structure of the building-

A Cutscene Later

-After taking a leap from the school's food service area to some nearby trees, I manage to exit the place, finding Maekrite coming down as I turn around a corner-

Maekrite *snorts* — <Please tell me you found something interesting. I was bored to death back there...>

— Well, I have something interesting...

Maekrite — <Yes?> — tries to look at my stuff — <What is it?>

— Well... it seems we'll have to travel.

-The Nidorino raises an eyebrow, then I show him a picture of Slateport City as it was before the flood-

Maekrite — <I remember that place... not from this timeline though... but with all that's happened...> — shakes head — <how are we gonna manage to do anything there?>

— I'm not sure yet. I might have to ask around for some pointers.

Maekrite — <...I don't like that.>

— Don't worry. I'll ask some trusted people. The one thing that worries me more though is that we need some cash.

Maekrite — <Money? But... You have all this researcher stuff...>

— Can't do much with it for the moment, Maekrite, in particular if you want us to not have to answer questions.

-walks in silence for a bit, then leers at me and moves forward-

Maekrite — <Well, as long as you remember I don't like this.>

— Surely I'll remember that. Let's go back to the hotel and think about an excuse to stay around.

-disappearing into the night-

Jab: -sticks his head out of Every's backpack- <There's no meat in here!>

Katie: If you say so.

Basil: -giggles, too-

... Jab, why would there be meat in Every's backpack?

Dana: -rolls off of Basil and lays on her side, purring-

Basil: -circles Dana for a moment, before lying down on top of her, crosswise almost, and purrs too-

Jab: <Because I am hungry and I don't want berries and all the little birds or Rattata are off-limits!> -flails-

You know, I could go down to the store and—

Jab: <No! I want to hunt!> (To Crewe) <Do you know anywhere I can hunt?>

Dana: -purrs a little louder, eyes half closed-

-Nova watches them quietly, sitting by my heel. Obi-Wan is more interested in what everyone else is doing-

Er... Afraid not, Jab. None of my Pokemon hunt, so I'm not familiar with anywhere to do it.

... Are you sure you're allowed?

Basil: -climbs off Dana, sniffs her briefly, then turns around a few times before curling up next to her-

Basil: -sleepily- <Nice Dana...Best friend...zzzzzz>

-everyone is healed-

-Star is off to the side, looking distracted-

Bow:' -looking at Star being depressed- <What's with her?>

Ari:-Shrugs- <She got all mopey when she tried to talk to the trainer we were battling, like he could understand her.>

Bow : <Well, there WAS that one guy that called her the other day. He could understand Pokemon.>

Ari: <I doubt that was him, though.>

Bow: <Hmm...>

-Squirtle is looking at Star-

Squirtle: <Aw man, I still feel kind of bad for Sara- Er, I mean, Star (What am I supposed to call her???). I bet she misses her friends, and her pokemon.> -glances over at Ari- <Oh, but Ari will kill me if I tell her what happened...> <....>

Here, I have tons of berries. Mace is more or less on permanent berry-picking duty, and he always has helpers.

-pulls out a handful of mixed berries and offers it to Jab, tossing a pair of Oran berries towards Dana and Basil-

-Dana, for once, ignores the berries and curls up, pressing her back against Basil's-
