-Gaia shrugs dismissively and looks back at Rogue.-

Gaia: Regardless, I doubt you need to worry about any such slip-ups. We are representing both the Aurabolts and Interpol here, and as such, will be expected to hold ourselves to the highest of standards. Having seen your prowess in battle before, I look forward to watching your performance.

-Nevertheless, with a blip he teleports Lucius into the Seedot Zone. Knowing Maul, this most likely means directly on top of the Seedot.-

Farmer Beckett: What'd he look like? Well, kinda weedy and pale. Punchable face that looks like he's up to no good. So ya really think your new bosses can sort this oot for me?

Beck: Yea. We could prolly sort that out. I have a general idea on who that might be.

Motostoke [NHS]

A pair of Machamps dressed as nurses stand in the way of Lieutenant Cross. They appear to feel sorry for him. Another member of the human staff cart in a rolling hospital bed. And a doctor appeared from out of know where. He was wearing [Converse sneakers], a wacky scarf, and a piece of celery in his labcoat.

The Doctor: Now, Mr. Cross, would you follow us to the diagnostic clinic. That is a bad limp. And you appear very dehydrated and a bit low on blood sugar. Do you have diabetes? Corey, give our patient some custard and have Craig and Clara escort him to my office.

The oddly eccentric doctor turns around and suddenly has a weird implement on his hands, as if from hammerspace.

The Doctor: Now let me just get my Sonic Stethoscope—it goes ding when there's stuff that's wrong with you.

It keeps dinging.

Motostoke / Yoshida Cafe (Past?)

Fuka feels a tug at the back of her jacket. She turns and sees Will's Jigglypuff has jumped from her trainer's arms and has grabbed onto Fuka.

Fuka: What's up, Puri?

Puri the Jigglypuff points and Fuka follows the gesture to see Will staring at the coffee shop. Fuka turns up Will, tugging down on her jacket's collar to give Puri a pull up to her shoulder.

Fuka: Never figured you for a coffee drinker. I always thought Galar folk were all about tea.

Will: Ha ha. I'm looking at that.

Will points to the sign on the window reading that one can battle the owner for prizes

Fuka: Ohhh. Neat. Let's try it, then.

The pair walk in and the first thing Fuka notices is the sweet smell inside. The second is the Pokemon next to the cashier.

Fuka: I haven't seen that Pokemon before.

Will (suddenly smirking): You haven't?

Fuka (smirking herself): I know what you're thinking, but I'll have you know I don't need that Pokedex Dad made me anymore. (pulls out her Rotom phone) The Rotom phones Dad gave us have Pokedex apps on them!

Fuka pulls up the app and points the phone at the Pokemon. Her grin leaves her face as the voice coming from the device is not the standard, robotic Pokemon voice not that of a gruff sounding man ( Imagine Rubeus Hagrid from Harry Potter).

Pokedex: Milcery, the Cream Pokemon-

Fuka begins frantically looking at her phone.

Fuka: Volume! Volume!

Pokedex: -are considered a good luck charm for patisseries and coffee shops throughout Galar. Always had to keep you away from coffee when you were little.

Fuka: Mute! Mute!

Pokedex: -never seemed to like it but you always tried to drink it. Every time to did though, we had extra laundry to deal with the next morning, and that's not counting how hard it was to get you to bed in the first place after the caffeine.

Fuka falls to her knees in red-faced despair. Will leans down next to her, trying (and failing) to hold on laughter.

Will: The Rotom phones Dad gave us.

Fuka: You just wait until we have to scan a Drowzee!

Will: Drowzee aren't native to Galar.

Silas shrugged, "Good to hear Ian," he said to Ian.

And finally, /Duck/, Silas smirked, "The bag I'm taking has a spare drive on there for you to store yourself in if you like, Bishop has decided to not come along. Also, know anything about worlds that turn people into pokemon but have modern human ruins?"

Roxy turned to the new arrivals, "Alright, keep in mind this will be dangerous, are you sure you're all ready for this?"

Camp Chat: The Road To Turffield/Opening Ceremony

So man, my sponsor didn't tell me there'd be two more Aurabolts in the challenge but I am really happy they're there. No sign of our good ol' Jackal but honestly me, Gaia and Rogue are gonna do great things in Galar. That said, being down in that arena with all those J-Team folks was... Well somewhat intimidating. The Team is here now in the region and will be for a while, I'm pretty sure you lot all realize that when that happens trouble follows along behind them. So yeah waiting for that shoe to drop so I can avoid the splash damage...

-Gale tries to shake the bad emotions off and rummages off-camera to grab a snack-

I probably need a new member of the squad going into Turffield Gym, given I've got two Pokemon for fighting and neither has any particularly good bonuses against Grass. The problem is all the good stuff, like the really good stuff I've read about, is in places I really can't go yet because it's dangerous for a trainer with no badges and only two mons.

-She takes a bite of a candybar-

I do have a weird idea though: Any of you fans in Galar got a fire-type I can temporarily trade over for the Gym then trade back?

Mezzo: And wow, it even says who you're sponsored by. You might as well have the logo stamped on your forehead.

Channah: Oh, like strategy? Huh. He seemed kinda dour. Anyway. I think I'm gonna do the gym tomorrow. Unless you are...?

Shun: ...I'm not playing into your delusional engineered narrative. If there has been genuine wrongdoing on your part, then it is my job to root it out and see you held accountable for it, but otherwise our relationship is no different than that of any other given pair of-

-She looks back at Rogue.-

Gaia: Besides, if there is any rivalry going on, I would hate to be left out of it. We may be part of the same team, certainly - but we Aurabolts are nothing if not competitive, and surely the team's second must baulk at being outclassed by the thief she once nearly brought to justice?
