-Brock calls back his fainted Golem-

Brock: That was an impressive combination, Ian... Why don't you try a combination of your Oshawott's Ice Beam and Aqua Jet when he learns that move...?

Me: Thanks for the advice, Brock! I think we'll try that combo someday...

-Suddenly, another Poké Ball opens and out comes a Crobat-

Me: Who's that Pokémon?

Pokédex: Crobat, the Bat Pokémon, and the final evolution of Zubat. A Poison and Flying Type. With its two additional wings, Crobat is able to fly much faster than Golbat.

Brock: While it is true that I am a Rock-type Gym Leader, on my journey I learned to diversify.

-Crobat looks at the ground dejectedly-

Brock: Now, that doesn't mean you can't battle Ian in an unofficial match after this is over...

-Brock calls back his Crobat-

Brock: Sorry about that, Ian... Crobat tends to get excited in the heat of battle...

-Brock throws a different Poké Ball and out comes a Rhydon-

Rhydon, the Drill Pokémon and the evolved form of Rhyhorn. A Ground and Rock type. Rhydon's horn can crush even uncut diamonds. One sweeping blow of its tail can topple a building. This Pokémon's hide is extremely tough. Even direct cannon hits don't leave a scratch.

Me: This one's not gonna be easy, Oshawittle... So give it all you've got!

Therese: Well then, on my end I've encountered mainly a few people whose backgrounds do not appear to be too suspicious. I've spotted the Macrauls, but other than one of them having no records they appear to be rather less active than their uncle and cousins; I observed one of them leave, possibly in a fit of boredom. "Adam" and I would keep you posted.

Fox looked to Bishop, who clicked a bit before the monitors displayed the kitchen itself, there were at least 3 grunts in view all dressed up in different armored uniforms, a 4th grunt walked in, wearing what appeared to be some sort of futuristic trenchcoat, carrying one of the new petrifier rifles.

Fox blinked, "Oh no."

Then over the intercom came, "Could our VIPs enter the Auction hall for the start of our private auction? The Art Auction will begin in Hall 3, all those there for the art auction please enter."

Fox tapped her comm, "Jackal you getting this?"

Over the comm system came, "Yeah. We're kind of stuck at the moment, what can you see?"

"We've got Hunter Grunts in the kitchen, have you guys found anything?"

Rogue: ...Good thing we checked, I guess.

-They close the closet door, and check their map again.-

Rogue: All right, so, we wanna stick to the old plan and take things right behind their back? We'll have to move quickly if they're just about to start the private auction, but the other option is blocking off their exits and systematically kick the ass of anyone who crosses our path, which I'd be a lot more confident about if I had my full team. And if it were more than just the three of us.

-They close their map, thinking and pacing.-

Rogue: If we can snag some of their petrifiers off them, that could make things easier, but I'm not... fond of the idea of actually using the things against them. We could, but I don't think I could let myself use one personally.

Aldrich Manor - Security

Lamb lightly chuckled when she saw the guards in the kitchen. But then she blanched when she saw the petrifiers.

"I gotta remember to teach myself Hidden Power sometime," she considered. "Until then, I could probably use one, if and when we swipe one?" She offered, electing to turn her helmet back on to record the security feed, wincing at the clashing light sources, using her hand to shield her eyes.

"You got another canister of knockout gas?" She asked Rogue, snapping her fingers repeatedly with her free hand as if she was expecting something to happen.

After a few minutes of fighting, Lester and Greaser were burned out. But, having not found a winner, they used their fingers as swords instead.

And Morgan was laughing the whole time. It got to the point of her looking kind of like the laughing crying emoji.

Fox's mask displayed a very worried expression, "Hey hey hey, we're not gonna do what they do and use those things. I'd rather not inflict a "I must scream" on anyone, no matter how deserving."

Jackal's voice came over, "I don't think the gas would work well either, they are wearing helmets are they not?"

Fox checked again, Bishop confirmed, "Yes Captain."

"Then they're probably insured against that. That said there does exist another option, one that exists to you there right now."

Fox looked to the others, then tapped the comms again, "What is that Jackal?"

"The security feed could be sent right to police. As soon as they see the illegal items and petrifiers, along with armed Poacher Grunts, they'd likely come barreling in. This auction was made because these guys were purged right?"

Bishop nodded, "It could work, the Guild wouldn't defend them at the very least."

"I understand that Ceila and Therese got a mad science type to talk, we have info about our next likely location. For now let's keep this under wraps and try to avoid attacking too many people."

Fox pondered, "We could probably check the storage rooms, some stuff looks like it could hide the fancy toys, get more evidence that way."

Jackal responded, "That's Rogue's call ultimately. We'll keep you updated out here on the floor. Jackal out."

The comms cut and the Rafter Team was alone, Fox turned to Rogue, "What next then?"

-Rogue paces a bit, mask expression furrowed.-

Rogue: ...It's an option. A good one, admittedly. But if we do give the cops a call, I hope you recognize that I'll be out of here as soon as you do. This is Kalos, after all, and I'm still on wanted lists here.

-They turn toward Fox and Lamb-

Rogue: But... yeah. Let's gather some more evidence, and then give them a call. If we're done within the hour, the knockout gas will almost certainly still be in effect on our security guard friend, and we could probably move them back to position and let them think they just dozed off on the job, with no clue that we got them out of the way. Cleaning up our tracks and all.

-After Tagg had Xatu bring the group of Persona users to Jubilife City after the meeting, Ren set Susan up in Hotel with Pent in an adjacent room. The others had, including Ren himself, had to find their own lodgings. Although Ren provided any necessities if the others required them.-

-Ren is currently waiting for the others to convene. In the mean time he is handling some paperwork. He hasn't given up on bringing Susan into his agency after all.-

"I've been filming the security feed via my mask's camera. With enough work we could filter out each individual channel and snag something, or, maybe, if we have a storage device on hand~..."
