This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

A video that shows you that sometimes, heroes just need a simple straightforward bad guy who's a bad guy because he can be a bad guy and likes running through walls.
Edit: We're all just gonna ignore the fact that I forgot to post the video initially.

One Strip! One Strip! It might just be Morlun on his own. You know he was fine in his first appearance but I dunno why the writers keep bringing him back.
Like look at Bane. He was created for Knightfall like Morlun for coming home. Yet Bane has had really interesting storylines created since than after a rut that have done a good job making three dimensional. Not so Morlun lol.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."From what I'm read about Morlun, he seems cool, it's just that everything around him seems dumb.
Morlun is such an un-Spider-Man villain, I'm baffled they keep bending over and twisting Spider-Man's lore just to accommodate Morlun and his dull family of Morluns. Such as the Spider-Totem shit, and Web of life mumbo jumbo.
Into the Spider-Verse did the smart thing, and didn't use Morlun or the Morluns but instead the Kingpin who does feel more like a Spidey threat.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I keep saying if Spider-Verse 2 wants to multiverse hunters, they should replace the Morluns with the Kraven family.
It makes a lot of sense.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Or how about a Sinister Six who conquered their universe and are going full on multiverse conqueror?
I also like Spider-Norman from Spider-Geddon. He at least made a great Final Boss to Superior in the comic.

Looks like the Ben Reilly mini-series was a success, it's revealed at the end of the final issue that Marvel will publish another one soon, it's titled The Lost Hunt
Reading more of the Ben Reilly finale
Huh, so we see that Spidercide has been wearing a mask and he looks just like Ben, blonde hair and everything....he has a change of heart and helps heal Ben after all of The Vault inmates pummel him, but he suffers a stroke that leaves him comatose. He's locked up under Kafka's supervision. I've got a sneaking suspicion they potentially set up a retcon for Chasm with that ending
I made a joking reference to Spidercide not even a month ago to some friends without knowing he was back in the comics. What an odd coincidence.
MJ, one of her kids, and Felicia are in ASM#4 next week
Yeah, the newest what if Miles Morales is like, super racist, I have no idea how they came up with this.
Because Miles is Thor, they decided to make Asgard a ghetto and Miles a rapper? It's very tone-deaf, like this issue came out two days ago and it's the most stereotypical thing I've ever seen.
I've been hearing about that, oooof.
Who's the writer?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The writer is Yehudi Mercado.
The Protomen enhanced my life. What the actual fuck.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonA saw a photo of him, he's a very white guy
Asgard in da hood
And of course Mjolnir has spray paint on it

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Ahaha.
Hammer Time
Ahahah
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Yehudi Mercado.
Yeah, it's weird how this was approved.

Regardless of the writer, the fact that this just went through editorial approval without no one raising an eyebrow it's just.... wow.
How is this even Miles?
Its basically Milesverse, Miles reimagined as a different hero
First issue was him as Captain America, 2 him as Wolverine, 3rd him as Hulk, and now 4th has him as Thor
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The same way all those Gwens are Gwen Stacy.
But those Gwens are all doppelgangers created from parts of her personality, not variants from other universes.
Except for Nightbird anyway, who is the one from Heroes Reborn and who is with the villains now.

Amazing Spider-Man#3
The MJ situation just gets sketchier. Turns out her boyfriend Paul confesses a bit to having a mean streak, a violent streak she's witnessed, but appears to be trying to keep Peter out of debt for a few weeks, he also appears to be fighting MJ's battles for her, wanting to talk to Peter about the text messages he's been leaving her
