- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

So Spencer's Amazing #1 was like, really fucking good. He did a good job of addressing some lingering old plotlines while setting the stage for going forward.
Otto self-plagiarizing his own work for his Ph D comes back to bite Peter in the ass because while covering a Plagiarizing-Detector tech from ESU, Pete gets "exposed" for copying Otto's work whole-sail.
Pete gets fired from the Bugel. Even though Robbie is sure that there is a reasonable explanation, they are facing budget cuts regardless and they can't afford to keep Peter on with this new bad press.
Turns out Wilson Fisk used all that good will he garnered for himself supporting the New Yorkers who were trapped in the Dome during Secret Empire ended up getting him elected as replacement mayor for New York.
Mary Jane is just straight up written better here than she was during the entirety of Slott's run. Pete at the end of the issue that despite all the mess in his life, Mary Jane was always consistently the one constant and the two get back together.
Wow, way to save your rep, Nick; well done!
Funny but not helpful
Peter losing the doctorate feels like walking back but the context of Otto having totally plagiarized himself does make it feel more like a chekov's gun that finally went off. I seem to recall that one professor who Otto hated noticed the plagiarism too but Otto convinced him not to say anything.

Huh, while the firing and doctorate things are bummers (But expected in the case of the latter, I was wondering when that would come up again), I am glad to see Mysterio's back, Peter and MJ are getting back together, and that we're likely going to see some fun shenanigans with Boomerrang being Peter's roommate on top of everything else.
Looking hopeful so far. Keep it up Nick.
Oh, and in the Newspaper Strip, Peter got a bi-line published in the Bugle this week too...though he feels a bit guilty for helping to expose Iron Fist's operations in the city when he did his best to cover up his own activity as Spidey.
