So exhausted today. Studying was really difficult. Now I guess I am done with studying for the day.

I understand, work can be quite stressful for me too. Perhaps we can play some table tennis.

That sounds like a great idea! That would be a good way for me to de-stress.

I'm also done with studying for today, so maybe I'll do some more swimming in the river to practice my swimming skills.

You certainly have good ideas for activities, we should try some of those too!

Good to see the studies going well, that special place we were talking about on the weekend is still as beautiful as it was years ago!

Phos is safe, thanks to the mana core! They ran off into Stefan's homeworld, fell apart due to incompatibility, but we managed to bring them into a higher-degree universe and restore them.

Anyone else feeling kind of despondent and sad lately? I feel like my luck has been going down in recent weeks, and everything just seems to be happening in a way to maximize my emotional distress.

I can have that feeling too. Sometimes it seems like destiny just wants to see us suffer for its own amusement.

Sometimes I have had that outlook in the past, but I have tried (and mostly succeeded) to outgrow it. Things will be better for you guys soon. If you guys need anything, I'll be here for you.

Still, I still feel like if something bad could end up happening to me, it will end up happen to me, especially if I worry about the possibility beforehand. It's because these things I have worried about before actually do end up happening to me anyway.

Like that time I was laid off from my paid internship despite praying that I wouldn't end up getting laid off from my paid internship before it happened? Yeah, I know what that's like.

   [1] I agree with Marnie, there's maybe bad moments from the past but it's best to let it go and keep thinking positive for the present! aroo.   

   Maybe that kind of mindset could bring you some good luck Mallow and Mina.   

   Even though my luck in our cartoon wasn't that great (in regards to appearances) but when I'm with these two, it's hard for me to keep the glass half empty. Tl;dr, generally having good support can be helpful sometimes.

I'm glad you asked. The computer prototype I'm using right now is run on magic, with a spirit stone as the power source. With magicology, I can pretty much invent anything I want if I put my mind into it.

And yeah... you could say that. I remember being on deathbed in a hospital in my previous life before the next thing I knew, I was reborn in the Kingdom of Palettia as its princess. Pretty weird, but I've gotten used to it by now. Although this created a bit of a problem when my new parents found out I couldn't use magic naturally despite me being a noble, so I was disqualified from inheriting the throne from my father because of it. They chose my brother Allie instead.

Just got up. Mina is still sleeping. The storm outside seems to be less violent than it was yesterday. Maybe tomorrow it will have finally passed.

As for the cooling, I'd imagine that with the right construction, simple air cooling could work. Or maybe it's based on the local magic?

Hehehe! If you really want me to get technical, the computer prototype is powered by a raw non-elemental spirit stone that provides most of the magical energy. I have two other elemental spirit stones inserted that are at play. The Earth spirit stones create a network conductive aloy wires and circuits to channel the magical energy throughout, while the Wind spirit stones vent out heat to keep the thing from overheating. Also, I'm not sure if binary is involved. The main spirit stone does its own thing, I guess, but that's why I'll have to formulate more theories to how it works.

Hey Icarus, I know you don't keep up with infrastructure projects in my homeworld, but do you think you could pull this off?

I probably could, but the concept reeks of elitism so much that I'd probably cringe intensely with every single steel beam that I place. Funny that you mention it, because guess how eager dictators are to contact us when it comes to first contact and large construction projects like these. It's gotten so bad that we internally name wasteful, inefficient and overly large buildings like these "dictator's architecture".

And how do you respond to said dictators?

Most of the time, we just roast their politics in response. Sometimes, when an architect is in the right mood, they'll call in a team and use the alleged request as a guise to secretly make political caricatures of the dictator, and once they order us to take it down again, we refuse. I think we even caused a regime change once that way.

[1] That sounds interesting... though also problematic if you want to optimize your computer for specific tasks, like rendering 3D objects or managing databases. I'm not sure if you'd have any uses for that, but do you think it would be possible?
