I would like to see Animal and (Squeak Squad's version of) Magic come back in a Superstar-engine game.

Honestly my biggest disappointment with Star Allies was that it didn't bring Animal back. It even had proper candidate for a Friend in Gaw Gaw!

Yeah. You could argue Kirby games (at least the ones with powers) are Platformer / Beat-Em-Up hybrids already, given how combo and input centric they can be these days, especially when you get to areas with lots of enemies or enemies that take multiple hits.

What if the next Kirby game is an RPG? It could even potentially be the next Earthbound/Mother, especially since they were made by the same company.
Think about it. The 80's, 90's and 00's all have the Mother series as the "strange, funny, and heartrending RPG" of their generation, and this generation can have Kirby as the one carrying that torch. After all, if there's someone that could continue Ninten's, Ness's, and Lucas's legacy in "quirky, yet deep RPGs", Kirby would be that someone, since his later games, if you think about it, are basically MOTHER in platforming form...

Kirby's Return to Dream Land is honestly one of my top ten games of the decade. It and Donkey Kong Country 3 are probably the most underrated Nintendo games ever.

Red Spade, Black Heart
The art direction, gameplay, and music are all phenomenal, though, and you can play the whole game as King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Waddle Dee (albeit only in multiplayer). I also adored the Water copy ability. I think that more than makes up for one unlikable character.
Aurora Area and Nutty Noon are two of my all-time favorite Kirby jamz. I wish they were in Ultimate.

Eh. I prefer Robobot.
Maybe it's the kickass theme, maybe it's the cool mech, maybe it's the fact that it's the best modern 3D Star Fox game we've ever had. (Seriously though, Star Dream is the best boss ever in my opinion.)
