It's... Okay. It has all the elements that Nick shows always have that make me really dislike it, flat characters, no real jokes, and all the humor consists of making fun of characters who are not the main characters. It's not as bad as iCarly and definitely not as bad as Zoey 101 (which I though was just awful) so at least it has my respect there. It does have some enjoyable moments and I maybe laugh once every two episodes, so it's not a total loss. I personally don't like the main character or her red-haired friend. I have an appreciation for the rest of the characters that I really don't have for those two, especially the ones I'm not really supposed to like, but that's usually how it goes with Nick shows and me, haha. I really dislike the main character. I think she's a giant sue just as Carly and Zoey were, but at least Victoria Justice kinda acts, you know? I think Jamie and Miranda both have no acting skill whatsoever, and Victoria does even though she overacts sometimes. I'd love to see how she'd fare playing a better character.
The Method Acting episode was rather original. I liked it.
This is where my signature is.I think it's a really shallow but really funny show, and I like Tori's songs. This show, iCarly, and Ned's Declassified are the only shows that I know are from Schneider that I like. I did not like Drake and Josh.
I almost always love the songs on this show.
This is where my signature is.Love love LOVE this show. Finally got to see Freak the Freak Out Tuesday, and immediately knew "Give It Up" was flavored by Lady Marmalade. On a note, should Jade's completely obvious masochism even been considered a theory? With lines like "Not the good kind [of pain]." (Ice Cream for Kesha), I no longer have doubts.
Arghhh. This show just made me angry. Why would you belt like 24 hours after discovering you have nodes?! That's not a good thing!
Not that complete vocal rest is really a thing to begin with but come on.
I'd say plot device.
Eh, this show is mildly enjoyable. I've seen a few episodes when I've been drunk and it's alright.
I think that the show is cute and funny. It's not as annoying as, say, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI mainly like it because it takes an RPG to the Radar.
Trump delenda estI absolutely cannot STAND this show. I have nothing against Victoria, and I like the songs and (most of) the characters. The writing, however, is just painful to experience. It fails at being funny and interesting. The majority of the plots are clearly not thought out - hey, Dan, there's this crazy new thing they're doing with stories called "resolutions!" I think you should try it!
Looking for some stories?Since this hasn't been commented on for such a long time, I figured, why not?
I ship Sinjin with Brenda, the shy girl from the episode with Robbie's Mamaw.
Eh. To me the show is So Okay, It's Average. It's funny sometimes but sometimes it's just stupid. It's basically just like Dan Schneider's other shows. Also, YMMV but I would probably like it better without the laugh track. Or as a drama or something.
It would be a lot better without the laugh track.
my essay blog! Dalton LiveblogI love the jailbait.
Seconded Also seconded.
Trump delenda estPeople should talk in this more.
This show has really gotten good.
But seriously, Victorious and iCarly gets cancelled within 6 months of each other after it's been announced that two of the shows' actresses will be getting a spinoff? There's some Executive Meddling underfoot.

While I never thought Victorious was that good, I agree that the spin-off reeks of Executive Meddling and won't be worth watching. Jennette and Ariana are both fine actresses, but the writing on Dan's shows seems to be getting worse with time.
Still, I will give it the benefit of the doubt if/when it starts.

Looking for some stories?I've liked most of Dan Schnieder's shows growing up. From Drake and Josh and Zoey 101, while I hated iCarly at first, hearing about their cancellation made me appreciate them a lot more. I'm easy to entertain I guess, but he's made pretty much the only live-action shows I've liked on Nickelodeon since... I was born probably.
I'm trusting Sam & Cat to have decent jailbait (Jenette) and be mild at first, then have That One Episode like Victorious and be hooked from there on. Gibby on the other hand... I'm shocked Noah Munck is 16, which probably explains why he's getting a spin-off.
I'm going to laugh if Sam & Cat lets Schnieder bring most of the actors back anyway.
Sam & Cat is officially my favorite live action show currently running on Nickelodeon. Sam is funny, Cat is funny, both of them combined is hillarious.
Especially Cat. Cat X Robbie FOREVER!
BIG RED 4 LIFEIf you want to talk about Sam And Cat you should probably make a seperate thread.
Trump delenda estI just wanted to bump this to begin the annual reminder that this song was catchy as hell.
Man it's 2019 and I still love this show and ship Jori (Jade and Tori). I also still have the Soundtrack.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadCurious question, was there ever any confirmation that Victoria Justice and Adriana Grande didn't get along during filming or was that just a rumor?
Just wanted to make a thread to discuss this show I honestly think it's Dan's best work in a long time. the characters really make the show for me. They are just very interesting concepts and their dynamics are very amusing.
We must survive, all of us. The blood of a human for me, a cooked bird for you. Where is the difference?
