Do note that deleting an account doesn't delete it from the list that I can see, so whenever a mod gives you a number, mental subtract off the number of accounts you've already deleted.
@AHR: This isn't actually about the number of sockpuppets, so, no, it's unlikely that we would use that method.

I don't actually know. I can imagine reasons for it to catch both more and fewer, though I think that if you've been fairly consistent, then it should only count your own sockpuppets.

Okay, so my own fears are unfounded, since only nine (eight now) other accounts are linked to my IP. However, of those accounts, one is another troper (neobowman), one is probably his sockpuppet (Kamina), and one I'm not sure about (Santos L.Halper). So yeah, add me to the pile of people with IP issues.
Incidentally, what happens to posts from deleted accounts? Nothing immediate, apparently
