I'd think Nintendo'd bring in characters form Jojos Circus before they invite JoJo's Bizarre Adventure into the Melee

I immediately recognized that image of Shocker.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!GET BACK HERE SHOCKER! SHOCKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME! I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTH!
There's a certain irony here in that Shocker's gauntlets are literally the perfect weapon for fighting symbiotes.
Sheik vs. Ridley.
I think John Cena's in there too.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Stop Skeletons From Fighting just put out a video on Dragon Quest music and the series' composer Koichi Sugiyama.
I'm bringing it up here because, as someone who wants to see some Dragon Quest representation in Smash, I now officially know why people often bring up the composer as a reason why that will most likely never happen.
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.Yeah, it makes me sad, but it's a legit reason that needs considering when talking about Dragon Quest content in Smash.
Watched the video. God that host was insufferable. Completely myopic in her opinion about music, snobby about it, and then equates putting shitty music in a video game with the composer’s personal beliefs about erasing atrocities.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a shitty situation, but she could not have made that point in a worse way.
EDIT: Oh, and she subtly implies that she wants him to die so the other guy can take over. She wants another human to die, because she doesn’t like his video game music. Nice.

I don't remember that part.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.It's implicit when talking about how much better the guy who is considered next in line to take over the series' music is.
I don't think thinking highly of the successor of an 87 year old man is advocating for the older man's death, regardless of what the person in question thinks of him.
It's the impression I got.
I mean, it's an issue that's going to plague Dragon Quest until he retires or kicks the bucket. And the former doesn't seem likely to happen until he has to, so I get the source of frustration fans have.
It's possible whoever he puts in charge of his estate will still maintain a stranglehold on the rights to his compositions in particular, anyway, though his successor might be more easygoing about his.
I've been wondering why people keep going "ew, that guy" about DQ's composer... Yeah, the rights stuff probably is a pretty big problem for getting DQ rep in Ultimate.
Though I haven't had any problems with PS4 XI's sound track, and I've got 140 hours on it this month. But maybe I'm just weirdly easygoing, so whatever.

And then Skyward Sword combined them and looked amazing.
Ukrainian Red CrossI think SS can be really hit-or-miss, personally.
GameXplain got some direct feed footage of the demo. They're playing on Saffron City.
Any bets for today's track.
I want Punch-Out
Uni catActually, that's pretty exactly much what happened. I mean, "taking it personally" might be a stretch, but with Twilight Princess the art direction was deliberately the opposite of Wind Waker to appeal to people who didn't like that art direction. In Skyward Sword they sort of met the two in the middle.
Personally I'd like to see a return to TP's art style eventually (what with the better Switch hardware), but to be fair Bo TW looks fantastic so I'm not sure if they ever will...though that's probably a conversation better suited to the Zelda thread.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"Xenoblade, and everyone completely loses their shit.
I actually am hoping for something from Xenoblade Chronicles, mostly because I think X and/or 2 still have a decent shot.
It's been 3000 years…Surprise, it's megaman.
Isn't Little Mac and Zelda enough Jojo for you people? Jeez
