READY!
TO DIE
Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit.BEHIND YOU
READY!
TO RACE!
Honestly, why do people think this game is scary? I thought it was hilarious.
Yeah... "MOTHER" actually made me laugh out loud.
The hands' first appearance certainly shocked me, though.

Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit. The "good" ending was one of the funniest—and ballsiest—things I'd seen in years.
When i first saw READY! (TO DIE), i thought of X-Men The Arcade Game (X-MEN! WELCOME... TO DIE!!)
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.The fifth level, with the "tragic" block-hitting, made me feel very slightly sad, actually.
Otherwise, the game was more insightful than actually scary.
@Schitzo: Ah, i came here just to say that.
Pages Needing ImagesI think I'd already had the evil block hitting on level 5 spoiled. But I think what makes everyone remember Eversion is that it manages to be scary in such a minimalist way—in terms of gameplay it is the least complex game on my entire hard drive, by a large margin, and you could have drawn most of those graphics in an hour or two. And it's short too! Yet it still manages to give nondescript nightmares.
God damn hands...
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.SCRREEEE! SCREEEE! SCREEE-- PLOW!!
I SEE YOU

I concur.
Well, i finally got around to getting the "happy" ending to Eversion.
Let's just say it reminded me of an old girlfriend *shudder*.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Has anyone noticed... THAT THIS GAME IS EFFIN' CURSED???
Seriously, watch any given blind letsplay, and notice how when they get to world 5, they admit that the recording broke, and the level isn't being played blind. EVERY TIME SO FAR. I have yet to hear someones initial reaction to the blood in a letsplay.
