I have already edited a few things but I considered I had to thank all people who have contributed to Tv Tropes, as it has helped me understand a lot of things from English speaking media that I could not understand in the last three decades as we just don do them where I live.

Hello.
I'm a 21 year old NEET from Chile who's gone to TV Tropes for about 4-5 years now, and just made an account less than a month ago.
I have a nearly encyclopedic memory when it comes to things I like, I also have an unhealthly obsession with works that have dwindling casts, and I spend way too much time on Youtube.

Hey all,
I'm Rick, 21 years, hailing from the land of a thousand lakes (that's Finland, btw). I've been lurking on the wiki for a couple years now and decided I might as well introduce myself. You seem like a cool bunch.
Been studying computer engineering for a year now and am starting to get all kinds of paranoid about internet trackers and all that jazz. It's gotten to a level that my friends must find it annoying when it's all I ever talk about.
I have no memory of how I found this place, but the first thing I must've read was that guide for evil overlords. When I was a kid I always loved talking about tropes and stuff when watching movies with my dad so I guess it was only a matter of time until I ended up here.
Since then, I found some cool webcomics (never read any before [except xkcd {my physics teacher from upper secondary school introduced me, might've actually been "that" strip that brought me here}]), got more media literate (again, much to the frustration of my peers) and got inspired. Now I want to be a writer, wth. This place seems to have that effect on people.
So that's me. I just like talking, but don't know a lot of people to talk to (I'm a bit shy, I guess). Favorite movie is Reservoir Dogs (<3 Tarantino), book Ready Player One (might change to the Dark Tower series by the time I'm done with it), videogame can't decide (TOO MANY).

Hiya. Never really edited anything on TV Tropes unlike the other guys on this thread but I did fall through the rabbit hole like they did. Mainly joined the TV Tropes forums cause I really like being a part of a forum. (I think I was on Bulbagarden at one point as well as multiple other forums I don't feel like mentioning here) That, and maybe some of the Roleplays you guys have around here being really fun to read about on their tropes pages.
So yeah, I guess you'll be seeing me around a bit often from now on.
