Poor Hinata... I wish things were better for her and her family. That story is surprisingly touching.
I agree with her dad's desire to be a fitting trading card for his grandkid. It relates to something that I think of when I think of short-sighted and corrupt regimes and generations: why would you be so concerned with immediate profit, when it would be better to be a lasting source of pride and respect for your parents and children?
Of course, it's not a full analogue, as these are effectively mercenaries, here...
As for cards, there's a tradeoff to it. The more common rarities mean collectors and fans may actually see and learn from them. Plus, he could go out and sign a select few.
I still maintain that Kabuto's zombies should've been controlled using an updated form of his MY NINJA INFO CARDS
. Then in the following peace era, he could be the one making these trading cards as a commercialized version (that doesn't summon zombies).

Oh god this episode was fan-fucking-tastic.
Seeing Sasuke as an awkward as hell dad having to use Kakashi and Make Out Paradise for advice on being a parent while Salad is Tsundere during all of it. Sasuke can't even hold a conversation with Shino without sending a guy who tends to be in control of himself off.

Sure he was never there for her for her entire life, never even bothering to send a letter to the point he once almost killed by accident but......... wait what was my point?

Yet he couldn’t be bothered to check what his daughter looks like in 13 years. He talks to Naruto a lot, could have asked for a picture but noooooooo it was better to completely cut off any & all contact as if had never existed in the first place. .
