• Heartwarming in Hindsight: In the cartoons, Yakky was always trying to find a mother, with Chopper being overly protective of his safety in doing so. Come Jellystone!, and thanks to the Gender Flip of both characters, Yakky now has a mother: Chopper herself.
• Serial Numbers Filed Off: Yakky Doodle is basically Little Quacker from Hanna-Barbera's previous Tom and Jerry cartoons moonlighting as a new character. He has the exact same design, personality and an identical voice (but, despite initial impressions, they are not voiced by the same actor—Jimmy Wheldon voiced Yakky, while Red Coffey voiced Quacker).
