Narrowed It Down To The Guy I Recognise: Given that Sarah Michelle Gellar was serving as an executive producer on the series and the media narrative touting this as her big comeback, it's safe to say that most viewers guessed she wouldn't just be on the show to play an Arson investigator whose role would presumably be done once they found the culprit. Sure enough, she's revealed as the werewolf mother.
They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Phoebe the mean girl gets killed off abruptly by the werewolf after she learns about Blake's damage and shows Hidden Depths by being friendlier to her peers. More could arguably have been done with her, possibly as a Secret-Keeper to the pack.
