Played By: Armani Jackson
An anxious high school junior who was bitten by a werewolf during the forest fire.
  • Abusive Parents: Everett's parents are emotionally and verbally abusive towards him. His mother slaps him at one point and his parents work together to get him put on a psychiatric hold against his will.
  • Adrenaline Makeover: Getting bitten gives Everett a six-pack and newfound confidence.
  • Battle Couple: With Blake, near the end of season 1.
  • Nervous Wreck: Everett has anxiety and depression. His anxiety attacks can be felt by the whole pack at times.
  • Single-Power Superheroes: Everett's werewolf power is strength. The pack does discover the ability to share abilities in certain situations, however.

    Harlan Briggs

Harlan Briggs

Played By: Tyler Lawrence Gray, Julian Wanderer (child)
A high school senior and twin brother of Luna. Harlan was born a werewolf and was adopted by Garrett Briggs.
  • Adoption Angst: Whenever Harlan and Garrett have an argument in the first season, Harlan tends to bring up the fact that Garrett isn't his "real dad."
  • Club Kid: Played with. Harlan goes to clubs to blow off steam multiple times throughout the first season - often ending in a hook up of some sort.
  • Deadpan Snarker: The whole pack has shades of this trait, but it's particularly evident when Harlan is interacting with Cyrus.
  • Happily Adopted: Garrett has his ups and downs with Harlan and Luna, but he is a good father to them and tries his best to protect them and make them happy. This becomes more evident to Harlan later in Season 1.
  • Living Lie Detector: Harlan is able to listen to someone's heartbeat in order to tell whether or not they're lying.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: Harlan is antagonistic, whereas Luna is welcoming. Harlan doesn't want to help Everett and Blake at first, but Luna does. Harlan is extroverted, but Luna is introverted.
  • Single-Power Superheroes: Harlan's werewolf power is hearing. The pack does discover the ability to share abilities in certain situations, however.
  • Straight Gay: Harlan is a fitness addict and behaves like a typical frat boy who just happens to be into men.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene

    Luna Briggs

Elizabeth "Luna" Briggs

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wolfpackluna.jpg
A high school senior and twin sister of Harlan. Luna was born a werewolf and was adopted by Garrett Briggs.
  • Book Smart: Luna recognizes the story of Lycaon when the mysterious caller recites it, even pointing out the author is Ovid.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: When she was small, Luna had a pet horse named Thunder, until one night during a full moon, Thunder reacted negatively to her and then scared her resulting in her turning and killing the horse by accident.
  • Granola Girl: Subverted. Austin makes fun of Luna about being a granola girl at one point, asking is she did shrooms with her bestie at Joshua Tree. He is wrong, however.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Luna is the kindest of the pack and the golden locks to prove it.
  • Happily Adopted: Garrett has his ups and downs with Harlan and Luna, but he is a good father to them and tries his best to protect them and make them happy. Luna especially seems to recognize this.
  • Inconvenient Attraction: Luna feels this way about Austin. She tells him that she only likes him when he's not an asshole, which is "less than sometimes."
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Luna's first name is Elizabeth, but she only goes by Luna.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: Harlan is antagonistic, whereas Luna is welcoming. Harlan doesn't want to help Everett and Blake at first, but Luna does. Harlan is extroverted, but Luna is introverted.
  • Single-Power Superheroes: Luna's werewolf power is smell. The pack does discover the ability to share abilities in certain situations, however.

Other Main Characters

    Garrett Briggs

Garrett Briggs

Played By: Rodrigo Santoro
A California park ranger. Harlan and Luna's adoptive father.
  • Badass Normal: Garrett manages to raise two werewolf children, escape a werewolf attack during a forest fire, and survive the fire he's stranded in while being 100% human.
  • Happily Adopted: Garrett has his ups and downs with Harlan and Luna, but he is a good father to them and tries his best to protect them and make them happy.
  • Papa Wolf: Garrett will do anything he can to keep Harlan and Luna safe and out of the path of the fire investigators.

    Kristin Ramsey

Kristin Ramsey

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wolfpackramsey.jpg
An arson investigator for the LAFD.
  • Action Girl: Ramsey definitely has her bad-ass moments while on the arson investigation task-force. And then there's the reveal that she's the killer of the entire hot-shot crew 17 years earlier, too.
  • Mama Bear: Kristin fights against anyone who hurts her family, whether it's the hotshot crew that killed her husband or Malcolm when he comes after Baron.
  • Outliving One's Offspring: Her son (and husband) died in a fire.

Supporting Characters

Students

    Austin Kirk

Austin Kirk

Played By: Rio Mangini
A high school student who survived the forest fire and stampede.

    Cody Malcolm

Cody Malcolm

Played By: Rainer Dawn
A fellow student, gym rat, and drug dealer.

    Cyrus Nix

Cyrus Nix

Played By: Zack Nelson
A high school junior whose father died in a fire 17 years earlier.
  • Ambiguously Bi: During a conversation with Harlan it's mentioned he had a girlfriend the prior semester - whether Cyrus is bi or gay is not touched on.
  • Eating The Eyecandy: The first three times Cyrus sees Harlan, he takes his time to check Harlan out - all this happens before they even talk.
  • Tragic Keepsake: Cyrus has a lighter as the only thing left of his deceased father.

    Phoebe Caldwell

Phoebe Caldwell

Played By: Bailey Stender
A high school student and former friend of Blake.
  • Rich Bitch: Phoebe often comes off this way when interacting with (the noticeably poorer) Blake.
  • Voice Clip Song: Phoebe's voicemail threatening to ruin Blake is mixed into a song when it's revealed at the pool party. The partygoers sing along until they realize that they've teased her enough about it.

    Tia Patterson

Tia Patterson

Played By: Stella Smith
A fellow student and Phoebe's friend.
  • Asian Airhead: Tia spends most of her screentime high and giggling.

Fire Investigation Task Force

    Jason Jang

Officer Jason Jang

Played By: Lanny Joon
An LAPD officer investigating the arson with Kristin Ramsey.

    Prisha Ahmad

Prisha Ahmad

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wolfpackprisha.jpg
Played By: Hollie Bahar
A California park ranger and close friend of the Briggs family.
  • Secret Secret-Keeper: Prisha knows the Briggs twins are werewolves, unbeknownst to Harlan and Luna. It is revealed later, though, that Harlan knows that Prisha was aware.

    Trent Miller

Trent Miller

Played By: John Patrick Jordan
  • Asshole Victim: Miller's abuse of power means it's not particularly sad when the werewolf mauls him.
  • Dirty Cop: Attempts to rough up Harlan and threatens to book him for assaulting an officer. When Garrett stops Miller from doing this, Miller then (drunkenly) goes to the Briggs house to threaten and assault Harlan again.

Other Characters

    Danny Navarro

Danny Navarro

Played By: Nevada Jose
Blake's younger brother
  • Hollywood Autism: Danny is partially verbal, but has routines he must follow, like always watching the news if there's a TV around; he can't be trusted on his own. Blake, however, rattles off a bunch of misconceptions to Everett, showing more knowledge than is usual for this trope.
  • Morality Pet: Blake dotes on Danny and he is by far the person she's nicest to. Her love for Danny is what guides many of her choices.

    Malcolm

Malcolm

Played By: Gideon Emery
A former firefighter and the lone survivor of the hotshot crew that included Cyrus' father. Malcolm works as an orderly at the local hospital.
  • Unreliable Narrator: In both of his main appearances, he gives exposition that is outright wrong.
    • In his first appearance, he claims that there was a single wolf, who didn't die, who turned into a giant monster when exposed to fire. In Ramsey's flashback to the incident, there were two wolves, one was killed, and the other- Ramsey- turned humanoid in order to slaughter the hotshot crew.
    • In his second appearance, he claims to Baron that Ramsey is the arsonist. While Ramsey never refutes this on-screen, this claim is so out-of-character for her that it's obvious that Malcolm is bullshitting.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Malcolm kidnaps a dying Baron from the hospital in order to draw Ramsey into a confrontation.

Spoiler Characters

    The Werewolf

Baron

Played By: Chase Liefeld
  • Chekhov's Gunman: The one blond boy at Tia's party who can't remember his name. He's not only the werewolf but Harlan and Luna's brother too.
  • The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: Baron's human portion is clearly at odds with the beast inside of him. He is conflicted about the killing, but also helpless to stop it.
  • Single-Power Superheroes: Can turn others into werewolves.

    The Mysterious Caller
Played By: Ian Bohen
  • Harassing Phone Call: The caller isn't clear on whether or not he is trying to help or hurt the pack and just generally harasses them.
    • The caller plays a high-frequency tone when calling Harlan at one point - not great if you have super hearing.
