• Adorkable: Klara. Her terse way of speaking and obvious enthusiasm for Trixie lends itself well to a blunt confession of love. Trixie's own subdued mannerisms can certainly come off this way, too. And just look at them together!
• Crosses the Line Twice: Building a four-story tower out of the crushed bodies of live animals? Horrible. Summoning a gigantic fish to ride down the mass toboggan-style? Hilarious.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Zoozo Zlen is widely liked by readers for his genuinely sweet (if not very bright) personality.
• Inferred Holocaust: While the comic's epilogue does a lot to tie up the loose ends, the sheer number of times the ambassador of Skyggemyr used the Scepter of Death means there were a lot of probably sentient people killed off hundreds or even thousands of times. Granted, they probably weren't aware of their incoming doom, but it's still sobering to consider.
• Strangled by the Red String: Lyndon suddenly expressing sexual interest for Audrey after mostly getting into constant disagreements with her could be considered this.
• Ugly Cute: Zoozo Zlen is a giant spider with More Teeth than the Osmond Family; however, a combination of the simplistic art style and his very expressive face makes him oddly adorable.
