- Suspiciously Similar Song: Whether it was a Shout-Out from Jakob to his father, or a genetic predisposition that crossed a generation, "Three Marlenas" musically sounds quite close to Bob Dylan's "Precious Angel" (from Slow Train Coming).
- Vindicated by History: The Self-Titled Album was met with mediocre reviews upon release. Today, while not hailed as a classic, is held as a fairly decent debut by the band, and an overall solid album.
