• Accidentally-Correct Writing: The "You are Ngongo now!" scene implies that "Ngongo" may be a title or honorific, rather than a name. It's surprisingly close to the Kikongo word for a traditional healer or spirit medium, although there's no sign that the writers knew this.
• Genius Bonus: When Marge accidentally scares the cheetah, it makes a stereotypical "frightened house cat" sound as it runs off. This might come across as Rule of Funny to many, unless you're aware of the fact that cheetahs are one of the only large cats that are incapable of roaring, and that their natural sound is not that far removed from that of the common house cat.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Joan Bushwell's exploitation of chimps may be this in light of allegations that the manufacturer of Chaokoh coconut milk chained up monkeys and forced them to pick coconuts. [1]
• Memetic Mutation: The shot of a crazed Bushwell with diamonds in her hands is often used by Pokémon Masters players in social media posts when using the in-game gem currency for a character they want to get badly.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Many believe that the plot with the bagboy strike was more interesting than the main plot. The concept of the whole town going hungry due to the strike had several possibilities, only to be thrown away for a generic Vacation Episode.
