With the announcement of OMORI getting a manga adaptation in late 2023, he has one more thing to brag about: getting his own comic counterpart, and therefore the full comic that Omoriboy never had. RainingKetchup even commented on the announcement, joking that Omoriboy's "got competition".
• Parody Displacement: This series is more known than the original Omoriboy, which by itself was known more for its role in OMORI's creation.
• Watch It for the Meme: A significant number of viewers watched the series because of the multiple YTPMV and SiIvaGunner remixes of "Redditor Too", to the point that the next episode after its inclusion directly addressed them.
