  • Anvilicious: Considering it's a Happy Science movie, being heavy-handed in their morals is a given.
    • Technological progress is not a substitute for faith and spirituality, and thinking so will lead to atheism and complacency, which in turn will lead people to Hell once they die.
    • Every person has a spiritual heritage, whether they accept it or not.
    • Atheism will lead other people astray from God and their spiritual heritage if left to their devices. Eventually, their corrupting influence will cause others to indulge in all kinds of worldly pleasures and reject El Cantare, which will devolve into persecuting and destroying those who still treasure his teachings.
  • Glurge: Apart from Happy Science's usual rhetoric of evil atheists against righteous believers, this movie teaches that the Earth will cause cataclysms and sink entire continents underwater because their people neglected spirituality and therefore indulged in all kinds of vices, causing them to fall into Hell upon death and possess other people in the same state as them to exacerbate such vices. Moreover, the cult teaches that The Power of Love can ward off evil spirits and even extraterrestrial beings hellbent on harming humans.
  • Narm: Satan is depicted here as an Earth-born denizen of the Magellanic-Cloud People, which is a race of feline humanoid aliens. The very idea of Old Scratch being depicted as an alien cat-man in a past life sure is laughable for those who aren't Happy Science believers.
  • Narm Charm: Satan's depiction may be laughable for non-believing viewers at first glance, but then becomes scary after the movie showcases his oppressive rule after he overthrew Enlil and enslaved most of his subjects. And the less said about his ruling in Hell after being slain, the better.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: For all its faults, the movie's animation isn't without its merits. For example, the creation of the "Pytron" is one of the best-worked scenes; the device's creation is depicted as swirling clouds gathering around a beam of light to create a tower.
