YMMV / The Bourne Identity

• Ensemble Dark Horse: Nikki Parsons, thanks in part to the subtle strength behind Julia Stiles' performance.
• It Was His Sled: As the title indicates, the plot is Bourne trying to find out who he is. However, while his identity as an assassin is supposed to be a twist, it's become so well-known that Bourne is commonly namedropped as a badass. It doesn't help that his being an assassin is required to know the plots of the later movies.
• Retroactive Recognition: Walton Goggins appears for about 30 seconds as "Research Tech."
• Tear Jerker: It is not commented on, but it's pretty obvious that the Professor killed Eammon's dog as his children are unable to find him anywhere, and the dog was never one to miss a meal with his family. This immediately tips off Jason to the presence of his pursuers, and sadly even after he dispatches the assassin the family (And Marie) are forced to flee without their beloved pet.
