- Broken Base: Should the crossovers between Super Sentai and Kamen Rider be an hour-long special, or should they be split between the two shows? On one hand, the former makes it self-contained, and does not interfere with the overall story. On the other hand, fans of Kamen Rider nowadays also tend to watch the Sentai show that is a part of the crossover, so they tend to like it when it isn't a separate entry.
- Friendly Fandoms: With the Pretty Cure franchise, which is considered more or less an animated Distaff Counterpart to component shows. Even when coming to promotion material those shows are often paired with Pretty Cure in gendered scenarios - Kamen Rider/Super Sentai for boys, Pretty Cure for girls.
