• Catharsis Factor: Cartman's swearing coming back to bite him when he can no longer filter any of his words is definitely what he deserved. Sadly, Thomas and Kyle inadvertently save him from further humiliation.
• Crosses the Line Twice: A pedophile being tricked into going on Dateline with Chris Hansen of To Catch a Predator fame and shooting himself once he realises where he is? Dark. A whole bunch of pedophiles doing the exact same thing en masse? Darkly comedic. The fact that one of them shot himself because there weren't really any brownies? Hilarious.
• Harsher in Hindsight: One of the things Cartman accidentally blurts out being "I cry at night because I don't have a dad!" becomes this after it's revealed his dad was actually Jack Tenorman, AKA Scott Tenorman's dad whom Cartman killed and turned into chili.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Craig awkwardly asking if he could hang out with Thomas and do his laundry appears a lot different after Craig was revealed to be gay from Season 19 onwards, especially since Thomas's twitchy attitude and blond hair is reminiscent of Craig's canon boyfriend Tweek.
• One-Scene Wonder: The Tourette kids, who avert the stereotypical depiction of the disorder and are sympathetically portrayed as longing for acceptance by society.
