• Aluminium Christmas Trees: Though some readers find it odd that car fixing is a class offered, many high schools teach automechanics or similar.
• Angst? What Angst?: No one seems to bat an eye at Charmy Bee’s death, with the exception of his girlfriend who says “it relaxes me so much”; seeming downright thrilled.
• Bile Fascination: The absurdity of the the story, as well as the debate on whether the story is an intentional Troll Fic or genuinely written by a 7th grader, has gained this fanfic some attention from readers who wish to know how far the fanfic goes.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Eggman somehow tricks Sonic, Tails, and Amy (though seemingly no-one else in the school) into believing that prom is on Ghost Island. The resulting scene features numerous elements that appear nowhere else in the story, including spooky landscapes, the undead, safe cracking and most notably Eggman himself. The events have no impact on the rest of the plot and outside a mention at the start of the next chapter, are never brought up again.
• Crosses the Line Twice: ...And then it crosses the line until the line doesn't even have a purpose for existing anymore. Every chapter is crazier than the last, until the final chapter, chapter 25, finally just goes all-out crazy in every single direction.
• Canon Defilement: It's a High School AU, so expect a lot of canon defilement. All the Sonic characters, no matter what their canonical background is, all live in the same high-class suburban community, and we also have the characters eating Chao meat sandwiches in one scene, despite the fact that Chao are supposed to be sacred in the official canon. You then have Tails being an elitist asshole to people who ask questions he knows the answer to, and then there's the fact that all the characters are wearing clothes.
• Designated Hero: So long as one counts his emo phase, Sonic is easily the fourth least sympathetic character in the story, behind only the two unambiguous villains and Shadow who commits rape and several murders.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: The lunch lady is a big hit among readers, mainly for her rescue efforts during the school fire.
• Fetish Retardant: The sex scenes are appallingly written even by the story's standards. There is never foreplay, and the very explicit prose is routinely interrupted by bizarre euphemisms and similes (for instance, "nine hundred ninety nine screaming ghosts rushed out of his penis like he was opening Panera's Box"). What is described is even worse than how it is described, mangling biology in both a figurative and literal sense; sex in one instance "rearanged her internal orgens" among other injurious actions and genitalia are orders of magnitude too large. The result is, rather than anything sexy, pure Narm.
• Narm: Almost continuous from beginning to end.
• Narm Charm: Most of the story qualifies for many readers, but the peaks are the extremely elaborate similes and the sex scenes.
• So Bad, It's Good: This is a fic where nearly every character is warped into an asshole, and it contains more than its fair share of typos, nonsensical plots, sex scenes, Toilet Humor, racism, and homophobia. However, the story also contains hilariously weird metaphors and similes like "[Tail's] face turned into a salad of anger, the devil, and lava." Meanwhile, the sex scenes are completely inept, including wildly inaccurate anatomy and "professional moves" that would be very strange or uncomfortable to try. The overall absurdity of the story makes for a laughable read.
• Wangst: Upon learning that his girlfriend’s bracelet was in Cream’s vagina, Sonic calls Amy a “loose woman” and “a concubine and a bitch” before the story tells us:
  Sonic did not know where he was running to, and to be real, he was not running anywhere. He was running in a really big circle around the town and crying and screaming because Amy cheating on him made him feel worse than anything. Sonic ran around for hours until all of his feelings were out and he was tired from running and being sad and mad and feelings that are hard to say what they are.
• The Woobie: Charmy is bullied by everyone for being gay, kidnapped, killed and replaced with a robot.
