YMMV / She-Hulk: Attorney at Law S1E9 "Whose Show Is This?"

Go To

  • Fridge Brilliance: So what happened to Jen's stolen blood in the revised version of the climax? Well, given what Bruce said about the radiation in his blood in the first episode, Todd probably still wanted to use it to give himself superpowers (as implied by the HulkKing username), but whomever he hired to work on it couldn't figure out how to make it not just kill him.
  • Special Effects Failure:
    • Todd's transformation into HulkKing looks like it was ripped out of the 2003 Hulk movie. Considering that his power up will be Retcon’d out and that Todd is meant to be seen as a loser, this may have been intentional.
    • A minor one, but the gag of the show backing out to the Disney+ home screen is kind of ruined by the word "Featured" above the show's thumbnail being in the wrong typeface, appearing to be Arial instead of Avenir.
  • Spoiled by the Format: If you're watching the show with subtitles you'll obviously notice that the writers room call the one in charge K.E.V.I.N. whereas She-Hulk calls them Kevin. The Insistent Terminology of addressing their boss as K.E.V.I.N. clues in many watchers that it's an acronym and that there'll be a Robotic Reveal. This was later amended, with K.E.V.I.N. being referred to as "Kevin" by the Marvel employees and Jen in the subtitles, and referring to himself as "K-E-V-I-N".
  • Unexpected Character: Skaar is introduced near the end of the episode, which was a great surprise to many.
