  • Awesome Bosses: The boss of Digital Mind is very cool. It's a giant, robotic spider that resides in the background while laser cannons fire at you in the foreground. The first phase of the battle requires you to stand on floppy disk platforms that lower when you stand on them, while dodging the lasers, until the floppy disks go into disk drives on the floor. Each disk causes the spider and its web to glitch out until the spider's body explodes. Then the spider's head comes back, frantically flying around and shooting lasers in a last-ditch attempt to fight you.
  • Awesome Music: It wouldn't be a 16-bit Retraux game without some great 16-bit music. Some highlights include:
  • Breather Boss: The UFO in Dice Palace is the 8th out of 12 bosses, coming in between the tricky spikeball-dodging of the tree boss and the even harder car-dodging of the traffic light boss. With the UFO, you just have to bounce up on the falling springpads and hit the boss a couple times. The UFO drops balls, but they don't even hurt you as long as you're in ball form (which you will be for nearly the entire battle.) There are spikes at the top of the arena, but they're not that hard to avoid since the boss doesn't get too close to the top.
  • Cheese Strategy: Dying in a boss fight resets your health to 1 and your gems to 0. Fortunately, you can cheat in those by collecting gems and then restarting from the pause menu to respawn them until you can fight at full health. (You can also do this at any point in a level, but this is inadvisable unless you're near the beginning of the level, since restarting will put you back at the beginning.)
  • That One Boss: The boss of Marble Museum sounds simple in theory. Hit the ghost upwards, out of the darkness at the bottom of the arena and into the light at the top. But it's a lot harder in practice. The ghost has a spikeball swinging around it, so you have to watch out for that when getting in range of the ghost. If the spikeball is almost underneath the ghost, hitting the ghost upwards can put you right in the spikeball's path. If you're not hitting the ghost, it goes down to the darkness, where it replenishes all its health, and it can move pretty quickly. To make things worse, you can't drop down through platforms, so you will have to run across the platforms while dodging the spikeball just to try and get underneath the ghost again.
