YMMV / Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: Dunk for Future

• Even Better Sequel: From a purely animation-related standpoint, Dunk for Future is considered to leagues ahead of the other Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf films, being nowhere near as cheap compared to American and other films and having some gorgeous backgrounds and animation.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Dunk for Future had Happytoon as a production company. They're the company that produces Happy Heroes, Huang Weiming's other long-running series besides Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf. Later in 2022, it was announced that Happy Heroes would be getting a third movie, The Stones, that has Pleasant Goat production company Creative Power Entertaining as part of its crew, being the first in the series to do so, bringing it full-circle.
• Unexpected Character: Bernard is not a character you'd associate with Pleasant Goat, especially since his series hasn't been relevant since 2012 (China-made 2017 and 2021 movies notwithstanding), so his cameo might surprise some who can recognize the bear. Alpha Group, who owns the company that produces Pleasant Goat, also owns the rights to Bernard in China, but there's not much to tie them together apart from this context.
