YMMV / Pajama Sam: Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff!

Go To

  • Critical Dissonance: Critical reception to Life is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff! was overall positive, as critics saw it as a decent time for kids. Fans consider it a major step down from previous Humongous Entertainment adventure games due to a variety of issues, if not one of their worst titles outright.
  • Good Bad Bugs: The Dresser Scaling mini-game has two potentially useful glitches. If you don't want to scale the dresser, just have Sam fall down the first time you play the mini-game. From then on, Sam will be able to skip straight to the top of the dresser as if you had already completed the mini-game. Alternatively, if you have completed the mini-game and can play it from the menu, playing it from there and having Sam fall down will warp Sam to the bottom of the dresser, regardless of where he was when you accessed the menu. This basically serves as a Warp Whistle (especially useful in a game with Loads and Loads of Loading), and even a Door to Before since it still works after the Point of No Return near the end of the game (allowing Sam to go back and pick up any trading cards he may have missed).
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Part of the reason why Life is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff! is so disliked compared to its predecessors is the change of Sam's voice actress from Pamela Adlon to Elisha Ferguson. Ferguson's performance is viewed as inferior to Adlon's take on the character, especially since she does a poor job of trying to disguise the fact she's a woman voicing a young boy.
