• Genius Bonus:
  • Mike has a fairly elaborate Running Gag involving outboard motors. Whenever one appears he makes suggestive-sounding comments about them ("Hey, nice Evinrude." "I hate when I get my Evinrude tangled up." etc). Evinrude is, of course, a brand of outboard motor. So is Johnson, which is clearly what Mike means to say whenever he says Evinrude.
  • One of the earliest riffs refers to a shot of a yacht as "Bebe Rebozo's home movies." Charles "Bebe" Rebozo was a Cuban-American businessman best-known for his friendship, and shady financial dealings with Richard Nixon.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Clearly, the very channel they're on were taking copious notes when Mike and the bots started coming up with more Mix-and-Match Critter monsters.
• Hollywood Pudgy: After Janet is killed and Peter and Stella find her lying dead on the deck, Mike comments, "She's fat!" However while certainly not as skinny as the "heroin chic" Stella, Janet is still a slender and very attractive (arguably moreso than Stella) woman.
• Narm Charm: The "dolphin warship" has two little plastic dolphins sitting inside the cockpit. And the ship's blaster beams are clearly just a red flashlight.
