• Nightmare Fuel:
  • A group of people swarming Marilyn Monroe as they are big fans of hers and she almost gets smothered and trampled by the crowd.
  • Marilyn bolting upright from her bed in excruciating pain in the middle of the night, begging Colin to call a doctor. Then blood just starts gushing from between her legs as she says she "can't lose another baby".
• Retroactive Recognition: For those who didn't know Eddie Redmayne before this, this is likely to be enforced following his performance as Marius in Les Misérables (2012), and as the third Harry Potter alumnus in this movie after Emma Watson and Kenneth Branagh, thanks to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
• Tear Jerker: "Why do the people I love always leave me?"
  • And then there's Marilyn's bloody miscarriage not long after innocently sharing a bed with Colin and begging him to call a doctor to try to stop the bleeding.
