• Alternative Character Interpretation: Daring Do. Did she really plan to get captured with Dash just happening to be in the way, or did she make it up to cover her earlier behavior? Also, how much is Daring truly dismissive of Rainbow Dash, and how much is it just Daring being lonely in her line of work?
• Ass Pull: Daring Do being real comes out of nowhere.
• Broken Base: The very concept that Daring Do is real. This idea alone pretty much split the fanbase with either loving this episode or hating it. While most were perfectly okay with this revelation, others did not like the idea at all, finding it jarring, and even pointless and illogical. Some fans were also unhappy with the amount of fan theories and head canon that this episode jossed, such as the idea that "Twilight's mother is the author of Daring Do" that the IDW comics and Gameloft mobile app hinted.
• Fanfic Fuel: Although much fanon and speculation on Daring Do were jossed by this episode, there's more than enough information about her to set the fanfic writers in a buzz.
• Jerkass Woobie: Dr. Caballeron has some Skewed Priorities but you can't help but feel bad for him when it's revealed that Daring Do refused to let him come along on her adventures.
• Memetic Molester: Rainbow Dash's face◊ when she watches Daring Do delivering the page quote.
• The Woobie: It's hard not to feel sorry for Rainbow Dash when she gets into a Heroic BSoD after she accidentally gets Daring Do captured (or so she thinks).
