  • Yuna and Fina have this, though Fina shows the most moments of possibly romantic attraction to Yuna. Though their relationship can be interpreted as just an older girl taking a younger girl under her wing as her "big sister" ("onee-chan"), this is also a very popular type of relationship in the Yuri Genre. The anime makes this all but blatant with episode 12, where Yuna has a Love Epiphany about how much she wants to be with Fina, made much more prominent by her speaking at length of how she was a shut-in loner in her past-life and now can't stand to be away from her for long.
  • Yuna meets and gains the admiration of no shortage of cute girls her age and younger. When she thinks about being called the more respectful "onee-sama", she has an Imagine Spot of a very suspect interaction between two silhouetted women.
  • In the web novel, when Yuna is discussing the far-future of Fina because of how intertwined their lives have become, the topic of Fina getting married to someone inevitably comes up. To lighten the mood, Yuna jokes to Telumina that she could marry Fina instead and Telumina then proceeds to give her blessing, saying that she'll have total peace of mind if Fina marries Yuna.
• Moe: Yuna was already in the running for the most adorable human being around before wearing her bear suit.
• Values Dissonance:
  • Yuna's employing orphans to help run her businesses are unquestionably portrayed as a good thing. While in our modern times, this would be considered "child labor" and heinous for many, many reasons, the Medieval Fantasy setting of the series is before the concept even existed, and children would pitch in to help the adults with their work out of necessity. It helps that the orphans were otherwise unemployable and forced to beg for scraps and donations. It is also made clear it was the children's choice to accept or decline the work.
  • The Les Yay between Yuna and Fina also suffers from this considering Yuna's 15 and Fina's 10.
