YMMV / Kamen Rider Girls

Go To

  • Covered Up
    • "Saite" was not written for Kamen Rider at all and was actually an unrelated single by the band everset in 2008. Four years before Kamen Rider Girls got their hands on it.
    • In a retroactive sense with "HEAVY METAL STRIKES BACK" as Demon Kakka originally wrote the song for them, but later released a self-cover on his 2017 album.
    • "Speed Lazer" from their 2022 album is also not an original song. It's a Rider Chips album only track from 2011.
  • Fandom Rivalry: With their sibling band, Rider Chips. Mostly from idol fans vs anti-idol fans.
  • Friendly Fandoms: With Project.R due to both groups being created for live action Toei properties and the fact that the two had an entire tour together that kickstarted KRGS' career. Rider Chips to a lesser extent, but growing bigger by the year due to the repeated collaborations.
  • Misattributed Song: Fans often misattribute "Ready Go!!" from the Kamen Rider Build soundtrack as a Kamen Rider Girls song. It's not. It's by a subgroup made up of members of the idol group, X21.
  • Signature Song: "Let's Go RiderKick 2011", their first official single and cover of the original Kamen Rider theme. "Saite" from Kamen Rider Fourze is also very popular on streaming.
  • Viewer Name Confusion: Ayako is actually not "Ghost girl" due to joining after doing away with wearing belts. Even though she did join at the start of Ghost (although, there was no new member during the previous season, Drive, at all) and her group color was black.
