  • Awesome Music: The outro song "Big Money Salvia" by YouTuber and musician Hot Dad.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: Leaving a troll comment on multiple videos every episode could be seen as mean-spirited if Erik didn't go out of his way to fabricate comments so ridiculously over-the-top that they become hilarious again.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • In the "Strange Sports" video, one of the first comments, on a finger skateboarding competition, mentions banning anyone from Russia if you wanted to have a fair sports competition. In late 2019, Russia would be banned from the Summer Olympics by the World Anti-Doping Agency due to a massive state-sponsored doping scheme.
    • In 2019, Erik made two videos on the 5G conspiracy and the "Miracle Mineral Supplement" (bleach) pseudomedicine. These topics resurfaced massively in 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic, prompting two follow-up videos.
      • The Sequel Episode for the bleach pesudomedicine, The Clorox Plan, focused on a successor to the focus of the original episode who also advocated for drinking bleach as medicine in the same way, right down to having the same hat. One of the videos showed the man, Mark Grenon, in Colombia, and a bunch of the comments Erik read out were accusing him of hiding out from the authorities there. Several of Erik's own comments remarked on how he should probably be arrested. In 2023 Mark Grenon and his sons actually were arrested for their "medicine" operation, and it turns out Mark himself really was in Colombia in an effort to evade authorities.
  • Memetic Mutation:
  • Moe: Robot's son, Robot Jr., even though he only appeared once in the lesson on children's entertainment. Too bad he's just as racist as his dad...
  • Sacred Cow: Among his fanbase, the band "Songwriter X and the Skeleton Band" are this after he featured them in this lesson on Music Videos. The entire fanbase mourned when Dennis Trerotola, the band's bass player, passed away in August of 2018.
