  • The entire idea of all Zelda games taking place in the same universe, with Link and Zelda being Legacy Characters via reincarnation. Some argue against it, stating that each game has always felt like a standalone story, with some exceptions. Others like it, finding a newfound interest in the franchise's story through it and theorizing where The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild falls on it.
