• Awesome Music: The instrumental theme song by Jim Steinman, which was Hulk Hogan's actual entrance theme before "Real American". Steinman later added lyrics and Bonnie Tyler recorded it under the title "Ravishing".
• Fridge Horror: The "Amazons Just Wanna Have Fun" ending pretty much implies all the ladies were killed in the temple collapse. Pretty dark for a children's cartoon.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Nowadays, it's kind of hard to see Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka being portrayed here as a chivalrous gentleman, when you consider he (allegedly) beat his girlfriend to death in real-life around this time.
• Unintentional Period Piece: And how! This is not only set during the Rock & Wrestling era (given the title of the show), but Andre the Giant's wardrobe - a pastel blue blazer and a pink shirt - practically screams The '80s.
