• Alternative Character Interpretation: Neither the Pac-Man ghosts nor the Five Nights At Freddys animatronics have 'canon' personalities, their rap battle circumvents this by basing the personalities off of their behaviour in their respective games. ^note In the actual game, Blinky is the most agressive one, chasing Pac-Man directly, this is represented with lyrics that insult their opponents directly. Inky in-game flanks Pac-Man by positioning himself opposite to Blinky in relation to Pacman's position, therefore "working" with Blinky. In the rap he almost always sets up the punchlines for Blinky. Pinky chases Pac-Man by positioning herself in front of him, the rap adapts this by giving her a 'smug' personality and making her give the rebuttals to the enemy's disses, and finally Clyde, who in-game chases Pac-Man until he gets close enough, and then retreats, the rap adapts this as him being easily distracted by making him Hashtag Rap, always referencing something else.
  • The voices for the ghosts might've been based off of The Adventures Of Duane And Brando's Pac-Man rap, as their channel is listed in GDR as one of their main inspirations (and the voices match).
• Accidental Innuendo: Happens in Scott Pilgrim vs Boyfriend. The lyrics for the battle were mostly written by people from Argentina, but Scott and Ramona's voice actors were from Chile. One of the lines can mean two completely different things depending on which country you're from. ^note  The line is accurately translated as "go trade picos with Pico", "Pico" means Beak in Spanish (aside from being the name of the character Pico, who the line references), but it's used as a synonym for kisses in Argentina and other parts of Latinamerica. In Chile, however, the word "pico" can be a vulgar way of saying "Penis", so while the original intention of the line is "Go smooch with Pico", YMMV on how to interpret it.
• Ass Pull:
  • Mega Man vs Astro Boy invokes this in a more literal sense, with Mega Man suggesting Astro Boy pulls his insults out of his ass like his bullets.
  • Played straight in Doctor Manhattan vs Saitama, where Saitama is unaffected by Doctor Manhattan's powers without any particular reason or explanation (even in One-Punch Man, Saitama's invincibility is shown to have it's limits, while Doctor Manhattan's powers are absolute and control every single atom).
• Friendly Fandoms: With Freshy Kanal. There seems to be a small overlap with Freshy Kanal fans who speak Spanish.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Kenny vs Krilin ends with a line about the show itself 'dying' and coming back frequently (mocking the inconsistent upload schedule). There was a completely unplanned year-long gap between this battle and the previous one (apparently caused by a corrupted USB), making that line hit even harder.
• Nightmare Fuel: Purple Guy walks into frame during the 8 bit section with Foxy, but only his legs are visible as the scene cuts away, the room this happens in is full of children.
