  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Para-Pug and Chad. Even though they play little actual role in his videos, and Grim himself has admitted Para-Pug was created simply as a literaly device to give him someone to talk to, they quickly became the highlight of the show and their segments are sometimes tagged as "most watched", even as they technically add nothing to the review.
  • Friendly Fandoms:
    • With MandaloreGaming, probably due to both channels having quite a similar style, very similar sense of humour and being popular faceless gaming reviewers who like to concentrate on older and more obscure games, as well as sharing Bile Fascination. The only major difference is that while Grim has made the entire channel dedicated to old and obscure games, Mandy generally tends to focus on more popular games, only "squeezing in" the more obscure stuff when possible. It also helps Grim and Mandy are fans of each other, with Mandy being a Patreon supporter of Grim and Grim appearing in Mandy's video on Gothic's playable teaser.
    • To a smaller extent, with HBomberGuy, due to both releasing a video connected to Messiah one month apart.
  • Growing the Beard: Although Grim's style is very consistent, the introduction of Para-Pug and the subsequent inclusion of more "personalised" segments has improved both the show, making it even more unique, and has improved the popularity of his channel. Introduced in Realms of the Haunting review (which itself is among Grim's more popular videos), Para-Pug was joined by Chad in the next video, the review of Deus Ex, which has quickly become the most popular video on Grim's channel, and since then, even reviews for virtually unknown games like ...Iru! or Synnergist have been getting a decent amount of views.
