- Fan-Preferred Cut Content: The whole thing, basically. It's almost universally agreed upon by Godzilla fans that this initial draft was vastly superior to what ended up being released, due to being far more faithful to the source material.
- Harsher in Hindsight: One of the reasons this script ultimately never came to be was because Sony felt it would be too expensive to film. What we got instead wound up going above the budget that Sony didn't agree on, meaning all the trouble they put themselves through over not agreeing was All for Nothing.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- As mentioned on the main page, many of the films concepts (such as Godzilla being a creation of an ancient civilization protecting them from oncoming threats and it eventually going to San Francisco) were eventually worked into other Kaiju based work such as Gamera: Guardian of the Universe (the former) and Godzilla (2014) (the latter).
- Terry Rossio‘s original involvement in the script has become this after he was confirmed to be a story writer for Godzilla vs. Kong. The crossover film even involved a shot of Godzilla running on all fours when fighting his mammalian rival, similar to the 1994 script.
