  • Alternative Character Interpretation: The narrator of "Stacy's Mom" is convinced that the titular character returns his affections because she once came out and talked to him wearing nothing but a Modesty Towel when he was mowing her lawn. Is the narrator correct in his assumption that Stacy's Mom has a thing for him, or did she just not care how she looked in front of him because she still sees him as a child?
  • Epic Riff: Of course, "Stacy's Mom" has an instantly recognizable staccato riff, but the sunny "Radiation Vibe" belongs up there too - that song's riff starts off their self-titled debut on a very high note.
  • Signature Song: "Stacy's Mom", of course. "Hackensack" is another candidate, highlighting the band's New Jersey roots from Adam Schlesinger's side. It's been covered by other artists including Katy Perry, and was performed as a tribute to Adam after he passed away from COVID-19.
  • The Woobie: Stacy, by way of Memetic Mutation. So many parodies and references to "Stacy's Mom" have been made that a lot of people joke that with all of the people in her social group hitting on her family members, Stacy's home life has to be a garbage fire.
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: "Stacy's Mom" is about a boy falling in love with his friend's mom, and it was played a lot on Radio Disney in the 2000s. The song itself contains several suggestive lyrics if one listens closely.
