- Crosses the Line Twice: Many comics that parody serious moments can reach into this area for some people. For example, your friend accidentally kills someone in a tournament? DOUBLE NOSEBLEED!!!!
- Qrow making jokes about Yang losing an arm to Adam with everyone staring at him. Here's a link.
- Really, with this comic, (spoilers) it's become apparent that he really likes to do this sort of thing. For those too lazy to look, Pyrrha getting shot by Cinder. And then Cinder flies into the air as cupid saying how she'll burn with passion. It's funny enough on its own, but the context just makes it all the more funnier.

- Harsher in Hindsight: One comic has Penny get stuck to Pyrrha's head as a result of her semblance. In PvP, Pyrrha's semblance gets Penny killed after Penny's wires cut her up. Eunnie naturally makes a comic about this.

- One comic has Ruby picking out her weapon, wanting to use all of them. Looks like Velvet beat her to the punch.
- In another Ozpin manages to fool Salem with a Paper-Thin Disguise and claiming his name is "Oz... car?". Well at least his disguise looks better in canon.
- Moe: The Super-Deformed artstyle looks adorable to many people.
- Narm Charm: The artwork's minimal to say the least. Which also makes it 10x funnier than if the characters were actually drawn in a detailed style.
