  • You get a triumphant fanfare every time you win a scroll. Each time, Lucky jumps for joy.
  • The Oni Rugby theme, which is intense as you try to clear the field and avoid your opponents.
• Most Wonderful Sound: You hear a whooshing sound in the soundtrack every time you receive a scroll. It can be very satisfying after you've spent a long time trying to master a level.
• That One Level: A few of the minigames are harder than others.
  • The Oni Rugby requires precision and knowing where the powerups are. Not helping is that the Oni are fast and can easily corner you. The second stage is even harder, since there are no power-ups and there are even more oni trying to corner you.
  • Likewise, in Marathon you can't just run. Even if you avoid the hazards from crabs and octopi, the only way to win is to stay on the track, gain enough speed, and overtake the current champion. It can be very difficult.
  • The final stretch in climbing involves going vertically up a pillar formation separate from the rest of the mountain. It can be very hard to avoid the snowballs, and even if you do that, there is still a risk of free-fall.
  • The second stage for archery involves a heavy indulgence of The Computer Is a Cheating Bastard trope, almost to the point of Scrappy Mechanic and High-Tier Scrappy for Yoichi.
• That One Sidequest: Finding all the driftwood for the woodcarver. The wood is scattered around the island and is very hard to spot, especially since there's also things that look like driftwood but are not interactable.
• Viewer Gender Confusion: Some players did not catch on the Player Character Lucky is female, due to almost^note The sole exception is the swimming minigame where she wears a bikini, easily missed since the player’s focus will be on the arrows. always wearing a ninja costume and having a name more commonly associated with males. Of course, if the player knows a lot about cats, it will make sense that Lucky is female given she's a calico, who are almost always female due their chromosomal makeup.
