• Fight Scene Failure: A Sarran warrior dies because water splashes up in a pond behind him. Which might have worked if Dayna had been throwing grenades, but we don't see it.
• Narm: Melanby's Blaxploitation-era outfit. Dayna's rifle looks like a Super Soaker.
• Signature Scene: Avon meeting Servalan on the beach, and the later scene in which he grabs her by the throat after she tries to tempt him with power, are both among the most iconic scenes in the entire series.
• Stock Footage Failure: Star One's destruction is depicted by Stock Footage of the Nova Queen disaster from the previous episode. Except Star One is located on a planet, not a spaceship. The Andromedan ships are depicted by the same model used for Space City in the episode Shadow.
