Moumantai Motherfuckers
is a science-fiction Furry comic about an alien rock band which formed on Earth, in an Alternate Universe where humanity embraced their relationship with aliens in 1978.
The main characters are:
- Sher Böhnchen, the guitar and singer. A "vampire bunny", he arrived to Earth in 2006 as a visitor and decided to stay.
- Rowi Dänkelsaft, the drummer. He arrived to Earth to learn about its vast music culture.
- D, the bassist. A deer from Germany who joined without expecting much from it.
Together they travel across the universe playing their music for anybody willing to listen, from a small group of aliens hiding in a cave, to large arena festivals, while also learning about the meaning of being part of a family and opposing to Horkers, a cruel species of reptilians who used Vampire Bunnies as cattle, and now are embarked in an universe conquering quest.
This comic provides examples of:
- Alien Food Is Edible: Not only alien food is shown as edible, but restaurants across the universe often can prepare food from different planets as part of their touristic attractive.
- Common Law Marriage: Sher and Rowi are very explicitly in love, but they aren't married.
- Cute Little Fangs: A given for Sher's species.
- Dark and Troubled Past: D grew up with an abusive mother and a father who left them when he was young.
- Faster-Than-Light Travel: Rowi explains at some point that it's done by generating small black holes.
- Hates Their Parent: D loathes his dad, so much that he prefers to call him "Sperm donor".
- Insectoid Aliens: Xunkiira.
- Interspecies Romance: Sher and Rowi are very different: Rowi is an Avali, a species of avian raptors, and Sher is a bunny with fangs, and both come from different parts of the Universe.
- Xunkiira and Rachel, an insect-like alien and a human.
- Lead Singer Plays Lead Guitar: Sher is the guitarist and the main singer of the band.
- Mechanical Lifeforms: The robots who receive the band when they're about to meet Auz'uls.
- No Biochemical Barriers
- Rock Trio: Sher is the guitarist and main singer, Rowi the drummer and D the bassist.
- Sleeper Starship: The Avali spaceship that rescued Auz'uls would put him in stasis until the ship arrived to the closest friendly space station.
- Technology Uplift: A requirement for Earth to join the space coalition was to advance their technology before aliens were revealed to the general human population. Some aliens were tasked with helping humans push the technology development forward in the 60s and 70s.
